Morning all!
33 going to a blustery 41.
Yesterdays high winds have my yard looking like I never touched a rake!!! Will have to dig out the big machine again!
Busy today with doctors appt. and furnace service at the apartment house. Still having neck issues and now it is affecting my left ear. Going to ask about dropping my blood pressure med as it's been really low.
Hopefully won't get to much snow tomorrow so I can try and clean up the yard Friday.
Going to change a shower head at one of the apartments while I wait for the furnace tech to show. Think I'll wait another week for changing the mower over to snow blower there. I'm sure the leaves are just as thick.
No pics. Haven't been in the shop. Working on getting ready for this weekend's show.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Check, don’t be surprised on the second week of recovery to see your feet bruised and swollen . This is after wearing knee high compression socks all day. Compression socks are required for 5 weeks after Surgery so blood clots won’t form.
How did y'all know it was allergy and not infection?
For 7-th year I have Husqvanra's automower 320

First you have to put wire around area and then enjoy. Turn blades around in mid season and that's it
For me it is mowing around 1.200 m^2 (13.000 sqf)
Shares yard with dog, no problem
Had battery replaced year ago, was not expensive. Other than that - no issues

Really recommend that thing
Sounds like a good mower.

Prayers for you Buppies.

And just like that, it's basketball season for son....off to practice.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

34.7F going to upper 70s, sunny day forecasted. Smoke yesterday afternoon obscured views of the mountains! Supposed to be worse today.

got around 40% of the roof interior boards nailed up, I need to mill more boards at some point. Only so many hours in the day . . .

Returning bundle of insulation to HD today, dropping off goodwill donations and eggs to church food bank along the way.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

Still praying that I can keep the house and remain here, for the near future. I've been in contact with the 3 kids regularly.

I'm also still hoping to buy an SUV with all wheel drive in the next month or two. I need a reliable used vehicle so that I can visit the kids ... all are 6 - 10 hrs away.

I hope that you are all doing well.
Sorry about the long wait scaredy to get things settled.
The number one reason that people move out of this active retirement neighborhood is to be closer to their kids when they no longer are active. So you may want to keep that in mind if you have to move, you would be a step ahead. You would just have to figure out which kid to move closer to.

Good Morning Guys,
PC, 77 going to 85, heavy rain and thunder storms ! 😒
Looks like a book reading day today !
Rain down here gets old quick !

There is a 3" gap in places. Because concrete apron has dropped over the years. Will cut the 12' pieces today
Ron, the sliding barn doors between the wood shop section of my barn and where I keep my tractor and ATV , I have some thick rubber that I attached to the bottom of the doors ! This way if I just want to heat that section I slide the doors closed and don’t get any drafts underneath ! Seems to work well !

Hope all have a blessed and safe day ! 🙏

Good Evening Everyone

I just wanted to check in again. I'm doing fine. The 4 way meeting that was scheduled with the Lawyers for tomorrow morning (Nov 8) had to be cancelled / postponed because my estranged wife is still not feeling well after 11 weeks - the waiting game continues. <snip>
Reads like my divorce.
Ex seemed like she wanted to just stretch it out forever.
Some people use the legal system to make things take forever.
Hopefully 11 weeks won't stretch out and keep you in limbo.

The redness was not near the incision only where adhesive was touching the skin. I also had three medical people look at it. Apparently the adhesive formula on bandages has changed and many many people are reporting the same redness/blisters that I experienced where the adhesive touches the skin. On discharge they loaded me up with antibiotics via IV and then 4 pills a day for 10 days.

I got the bill for the new knee: $189,000. Medicare paid $13K and I was responsible for $40. Not a money making business with all the people and equipment involved, no wonder he has to do 6 a day twice a week.

Good morning! 71˚F heading to the mid 80s, partly cloudy South breeze.

Heading to the neighborhood fitness center this morning to ride the bike and a few leg strengthening exercises. My real PT starts tomorrow about 25 miles away.

Apparently my call to corporate complaining about their canceling my appointments during the most critical time in my healing process to ward off scar tissue paid off and they squeezed me in at their other towns facilities. I still can't figure out why they made my appointments during the PT's (his) maternity leave they had to have know months in advance - their big mistake which I will remember during any surveys. I will probably have several Physical Therapists and no continuity, but I will make it work for the best possible healing/recovery outcome for me.

Good Morning
43 with a high of 50 under clear skies today.

Yesterday started with cutting some rubber sandblast mask for my friend “rockman”. Next up was a little bit of paper work followed by lunch.
After lunch, hooked up the progressive mower to the tractor and went to town for the last time this year. When I parked the mower, I took a good look at what’s involved with removing the rear deck. Sure looks like it’s just pulling out two pins and removing the driveline which has a quick connect. The overhaul of that will actually be fun. I got a spool of stainless wire for the mig welder and after a little fitting and grinding will go to town.
After a quick dinner went over to a friends house to help pull an airline and Ethernet cable the 250 from his house to his shop. We used 1/2” PEXa for the airline. Must be my lucky day, the RJ45 connectors I installed on the cable tested good on the first try.

Today will start with a few errands, and then get the tractor out and put tbe 90” Landpride 3PT mower on it to mow inside the pastures. Then hopefully some RC flying.

Yes Drew, it looks like voters all across PA were not in favor of book banning in schools.

I noticed my county/school property taxes were down about 30% and then noticed in small print on the back that there will be another tax bill coming if a proposition fails. Apparently enough people saw the small print and proposition 4 passed yesterday. That's a good thing, now just waiting to see how they make up the property tax money deficit in their budget.

Anybody else in Texas notice a property tax decrease this year around 30%?
