I've got the honey wagon coming today to pump out the septic tank. I get it done every year in the fall.
Funny, my Dad built our house (1952) out in the country, the septic tank was about 25' from the house and then the manifold and 7 stringers, he got it pumped once in 17 years.
If you NEED to get your septic tank pumped every year, I think something is wrong with the system. Field is too small, damaged or plugged?

Good Morning PopG,
Kind of curious as to why no fasteners during speaker construction !

Also curious as to what glue you use ?

I don’t use fasteners because they would concentrate the load in one spot, and I don’t want to deal with them in the finishing process. With the dado construction, alignment is pretty much spot on with out them.
I use Loctite PL Premium urethane construction adhesive applied with a Makita cordless caulking gun in the dado slots. The trick is to clean up the squeeze out at exactly the right time, when it comes clean off with a sharp chisel, rather than a gooey mess, if you do it early. And of course if you wait too long it’s like concrete.
It’s not a typical glue for this application, but it’s insanely strong.

I don't need to, I do it as preventive medicine. I would rather do it now when I just finished work for the next 8 months and have lots of money (within reason), than at income tax time when money is scarce.

It's a beautiful morning!
The pump guy is here putting in the new tank (y)

We will be glad to put this episode behind us. Replacing a 4k tank with a 3k tank but plans to repair and put the old tank online for additional storage.

Good breakfast this morning. Not sure I’ll get any work done today. Did pick up the 8 more sticks of conduit, just got another load of stone delivered, and ordered 4 Goodyear tires from tire shop that will be in Monday. He quoted $128 per tire, all the online places are $160. That’s well over $1k spent today. Probably had stone dumped too close to barn door, might have to BH some to get out, or use the BX to move some. Right now got snagglepuss on my lap, telling her what a pretty girl she is.

Made a Costco run, primarily to get my wife's wheels balanced and rotated...got there too late...mob scene. Still, managed to get a cart full of groceries and enjoy the day.
I picked up a rotisserie chicken the other day at Costco that I will use in Jayambalya. Also got some boiled shrimp and milk. The shrimp were good and I will do the Jayambalya tomorrow. We are at 80 F so down 20 degrees mas o menos from what it has been at this time of the day.

Got some more branches burned and now clean up for banquet tonight. Y'all have a great day!
