2Bit- I love the picture. Reminds me of the old B&W SciFi Movie “The Beginning of the End.” One of my favorites.
Drew- I am happy to read about the quality time you had with RS and his Wife.
RonJH- For all my bird pictures have few pictures of Robins and the ones that I do have honestly suck.
Thomas- Our lower field is covered with wild strawberries. I have seen them green, but never tasted one.
This hazy, hot, and humid weather has been "draining" me this year.
Since I posted last. The surprise visit from my Sister and Niece went really well. I was "Mind Numb" after looking at the 100's of pictures they took and shared. My Sister always wanted to visit Italy and my Niece, who received an art history/business major and graduated this year from college had the experience of a lifetime. She actually has an entry-level job and has a somewhat realistic longterm goal of being a curator in some museum. My Wife and I suspect our generous check for graduation/grad school financed this trip. Oh Well.
My Wife does indeed have a non displaced fractured wrist and will be wearing an immobilizer for the next 4 weeks. She is not a happy camper. My Wife and I had dinner with friends last night. My Wife has not been there since the C-19 craziness began. She is a really good cook. She planned on grilling a shish kabob dinner but the rain and T-storms prevented that so She went to Backup plan B which was thawed shrimp, sautéed and mixed with a really decent/interesting cream sauce. Her appetizers were really good and her dessert ice cream dish with a bourbon-cherry sauce was awesome. My Wife did not show it, but she did have a good time as I.
All this ongoing HHH weather has kept me mostly indoors, but I did have an opportunity to capture these pics this morning.
