Unfortunately Wells Fargo seems to be the only bank
to offer savings, checking, credit card and brokerage/trading all on the same page/platform.
Chase offers trading through JP Morgan, as well as the charge card and checking/savings accounts, which are free with minimum balances. But I've used Vanguard for years now, and with their low fees and decent web interface, see no reason to change now.

FWIW, T-bill short term interest has been better than CDs, and buying them in the aftermarket at Vanguard has been very convenient. If you have enough to reach Admiral level, most all the services they offer are free.

I use Vanguard, Fidelity and SChwab.
All three have worked well and their Money Markets are around 4%, but variable.
Vanguard is the best of the three, but no problems with the others in a long time.
I use PNC for checking though, so far no fees or hassles.

I’m pretty sure that the Orbi is just a router and access point system, it does not provide connectivity to the outside world like Starlink.

Right, it’s the router/mesh part of Starlink that seems to have trouble. You can use starlink as a modem and install your own router.

Starlink responded this morning that it was network congestion causing my problem and they closed my ticket. They also said they are updating my software. The system has been working as of last night, and now the mesh is working again.

I’ve got the Makita with Just over 1100 ft lbs of breakout, I have yet to find something it wouldn’t turn or break off trying. But having lots of Makita batteries definitely sways the decision.
When I got the Milwaukee fence stapler, I got an adapter to let me use the Makita batteries with it, and that works well. So if you really need the 1400 Ft lbs of the Milwaukee, that’s an option.

The saw comes with 4 batteries. I forgot it was makita you adapted to the stapler. Right now I put a 3/8” adapter on my Bosch impact and it does good, but not close to what a 1/2” will do.
Can’t wait for the saw.

I only have a few 3/4” sockets with manual bar. That’s when things get serious.

Sam’s Club is doing the same. I refuse to show my card. They push all the stuff like Scan & Go and other APP stuff. They no longer ask me for my card after making the line about 15 people long while raising a ruckus asking for manager to show up. I think everyone that works at store know who I am. I will show my membership on iPhone. Don’t mess with Senior Citizens.

I understand why, even told the lady I guess you get people using other’s cards. but it was annoying. The 2nd one asking about 2 orders was the weird part. As I was leaving the receipt checker asked how my day was going, so I commented about not liking getting carded to perform their job at self checkout. She recommended I file a complaint online, which I did.
When I got home and filed Complaint, I also set up my card in the app. Also told them I might just use Sams club more. I dropped it a couple years ago but been thinking of picking it up again. I had both for years. Funny part is my membership number is already part of having an app account, yet I had to reverify my membership number to set up the iPhone card.

Since Starlink router WiFi now working again, I won’t get the orbi. It comes with router and 2 mesh units, which would give better coverage.
Wife and I are still going on a lunch date somewhere, maybe mission

and triggered the balance requirements on the account, since I had to go to another bank since
Wells Fargo does not offer competitive CDs. Nor do most big banks.
I have never liked this bank, only wound up with them because they bought out Wachovia, a really good bank.
There are no perfect banks, evidently. Good luck in finding a bank you like. We have used WF for about 30+ years but it’s not the only bank we use.
I prefer a bank to have a physical location I can go to if necessary. Strictly on-line banks don’t appeal to me although some advertise good CD rates.

Do you know if the adapter allows using a Milwaukee battery on a Makita tool? I could use a top handle chainsaw and Mikita has a decent, inexpensive one but I don’t want to add another battery/charger platform just for that saw. I already have Milwaukee cordless stuff.
