Good Morning
67 at home with a high in the 70’s and fair skies.
79 and scattered thunderstorms today here in Orlando.

Not much to report, spent yesterday either in a classroom or locked in a moving box. More of the same today.

71° and cloudy
Not a drop of rain here. Nothing.
Only 8% chance today.
I didn’t water garden last night hoping Mother Nature would provide. Might water this morning.
Got 2 HDMI switches here to mess with, but I’m tired of messing with them.
My dash cam also stopped displaying on way home yesterday. It worked on the way down. Will hook to computer and check if it still recorded and just display off.
Deer party last night.

72F and "Fair" @ 09:15, heading up to around 82F for the day's high. A stray shower or thunderstorm possible this afternoon.

Change of plans yesterday: decided to mow down here around the house.

Woman was out inspecting east planting bed so I stopped by for a report. Said it was dry so I volunteered to go get the Buffalo which was full and She watered that east bed and the one under the maple a little north of that.

Got most of the mowing done, but needed to do some trimming on tree branches that were getting in the way of mower so I went and got the dump cart + various implements of destruction and started lopping and chopping.

Worked on a small crabapple, the magnolia, and the oak under the pole with the electrical transformer on it. Got everything trimmed back enough that I should be able to run the Cub under to mow the grass around the trees.

Hauled trimmings to the brush pile in the back and dumped them.

Came up front to drop the dump cart and noticed that the Cub was almost out of gas.

Woman was gathering trash and recyclables to haul them up to the cans at the road, waited until She got back and then took the car down to corner and got 5 gallons of gas for the Cub.

Plans for today:

Dole out meds for this week.

Schedule a bill for payment.

Strain/filter stink juice and get it bottled up.

Finish up mowing down here around the house.

Get FEL put back on Kubota.

Move some more screened compost down to garden.

Water seeds and plants in pots.

Swap out box blade for tiller.

Maybe get some tilling done.

Plus whatever else comes up ...

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday ... (y)

It has been an interesting past couple of days around here. Thursday afternoon my Wife tripped over her flip-flops and messed up her left wrist. We went out to eat at a really nice Italian restaurant that We have not frequented since C-19. The Romanian identical twins were still waitstaff and still "eye candy." It was a great experience. Friday morning it was very evident that Peg had seriously sprained or broken her wrist. I ranted about flip-flops a couple of years ago here when She broke her right wrist following a flip-flop induced fall. Anyways a good part of Friday was spent at an Urgent Care Center. X rays were negative for a fracture, but there is still a possibility that her wrist is fractured. The wrist was immobilized. We will do a (already set up) "Walk In" at a orthopedic/PT-OT center tomorrow for the recommended followup Xray to determine the course of action. On the good- Peg did not wear the wrist immobilizer for a good part of yesterday without having any additional discomfort. We'll see tomorrow. Besides all of this craziness I am still a domestic, laying down cardboard box mulch, getting some seat time on the rider, and string trimming the ever-encroaching vegetation. And of course I am still photographing wildlife. Mr. Song Sparrow.

ScaredyChicken. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers. I am sorry to read about your tenant's dog.😢

I need to catch up on the "news" here.

Good morning! Low was 57°, going up to 85°. High overcast this morning, no chances of precipitation.

Did the errands yesterday and got everything put away. The wifey declared the rest of the day as a 'rest day'. Not going to argue about that....

Today is finally the day for the "second opinion" for the knee. Appt. isn't until this afternoon. Will be taking the wifey to the hair dresser this morning, so I can't really get into anything prior too..... I think she planned this out.....

Scaredy, continuing prayers sent your way. Hope things speed up a bit, sounds like there is some headway. Take care.

Dennis, the property is looking good! Good you got the cutting done just under the wire.

Drew, maybe just some corrosion on the contacts in the taillight? Hopefully an easy fix.

Time to go hurry and wait....
Everyone have a great day!

Jay, easy solution to flip flop problem. Move to Eleuthra, out islands of Bahamas.
wear flip flops all year long. Just ask David in Hawaii.
Hope Peg is on the mend.

productive morning.
fixed the rv tailight, not sure for how long due to bad design of bulb holder.
Bulb was fine, contacts were fine, just loose in there. Working ok when I put it back, after greasing it
all down, but clearly I need to check on this occasionally to see if vibrated loose.
Shame on Hella for designing a poor fixture with such insecure bulb holders. Hella has been doing lights a very long time, this
surprises me.

then on to replacing bad ceiling LED light. That went ok, but it doesn't match well.
turns out the old light cover unscrews but was so crossthreaded or something it took a pair of pliers to get it apart.
installing the new one, first I used the screws they gave me. Too small. then I used the old screws, too big.
ever so thankfully, had some self tapping screws in garage that worked perfectly.
well not perfectly. It doesn't match, the light is a different color and it doesn't sit flat.
I don't get an attaboy for this one.

then mowed lawn and cleaned and greased the mower when done.
Sprayed most of veggies with Neem oil after finding an infestation of little white bugs in the tomatoes

lastly drove over to Lambertville with two empty gas cans and filled up the car and the two cans.
that's enough for today.

Ted and Drew- Thanks for the +'s.

Ted- Good luck with the second opinion. If I remember correctly you were working on getting that second opinion before my previous "disappearing act."

Drew- I am happy to read that you had a productive morning. I had an early morning "fasting" blood draw.

rswyan- I have yet to swap my box blade for the tiller as well. I planned on doing the swap last week, but those House Wrens are still active around the nest box.

Dennis- The deer have been really active around here lately.
