Men's meeting to start morning, putter and work on mower engine, flat head cleaned up, bolted in place but missing a head bolt Is going to be fun remembering how to hook up governors. After lunch went for bike ride, have to readjust to seat on Peugeot. Got nap in in then dinner with stepdaughter and her hubby. Brought some left overs home,yum. Started to fall for scam yesterday, caught my computer being remotely access today. Crashed computer, unplugged networ cable then did system restore with no internet, then plugged network cable back in. Got emails indicating they had tried to mess with paypal account so closed it down. Will have to monitor CC for few days. Getting closer to caught up

Coffee is brewing. 48° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 73° with rain and thunderstorms. Yesterday noticed water was low in garden pond. Found that valve that allows fresh water to be added to pond had failed. Got a a new one and installed. Cleaned up tree limbs and put on chipper pile. Mowed about half of the grass. Not sure I will get to finish today. Grocery shopping today. Then see what weather will allow me to do outside.

going grocery shopping today also

decided to change my trip to Michigan to include an extra day in n/w Michigan, where all the cherries are.
had a hard time getting a reservation for July 1 due to holiday. Was turned down four times. Then this super nice lady
at the Vista Green campground east of Traverse City said sure, we'd love to have you. I told her I was coming for at least two pieces of
home made sour cherry pie. She told me not to forget the chocolate covered cherries too.

trying to get more exercise in but limited by back, hurting more now after half an hour. I can't put off the L5 operation any longer. Originally had it scheduled for
four years ago, then I got sick. Probably another fusion. Hope to get it done late Fall so I can travel next year.
I've gained five pounds (more) on top of 20 pounds too much which isn't helping.
Endocrinologist told me you know these meds will make it hard for you to lose weight.

changed gen oil yesterday after running it. Very low hours, only need to do every other year, like the snowblower, if using full synthetic.

We used to buy quite a bit from REI. They had good quality items. But the main reason was their policy of accepting returns at any time.

I’m sure the reason they discontinued that was because too many people abused it. I did not but I’m not prone to take things I bought back very often even when I can.

I don’t have the confidence in REI that I did before though.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

58.4F, going o upper 70s, afternoon T-storms forecasted.

Today’s scheduled activities include going to Mom’s and taking a bunch of stuff to church for the annual Good Stuff sale, stopping at the hardware store for an outdoor-rates electrical box so I can relocate a day/night light that is a bit too far under the eaves and stays on way too long as a result, then maybe a stop at plumbing supply to order up 600’ of 2” tubing and associated fittings to start working on an irrigation system.

once the rain starts up it will be time for Energy Conservation and YouTube University.
