Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 5.2C and it's presently 15.1C, clear and calm.

My new debit/credit card did, indeed, arrive at the PO yesterday. I was able to 'activate' it whilst there and tested it out (petrol - credit) and groceries (debit/savings account). All good.

So today I'll contact a few organisations that do an automatic monthly credit charge... I'll hopefully remember a few of the annual ones too. A PITA, but it needs to be done. Seeing as I'm being dragged (as always, kicking & screaming) into the 21st Century, I'm 'researching' a new desktop computer tower. My current one works but is getting slow and our good friends at "Windows" have reported that my system cannot be 'upgraded' to version 11. Oh, well <sigh> there are End Of Financial Year (EOFY) sales on so I should do well. I'll just get them to do the data transfer between the two towers.

I've also got an evening meal/meeting starting at 1700 to 2130.

Thank you, I'm so busy at work and I fall behind. I'm installing a new air conditioning system in a Chevy traverse that my mother-in-law has given to us. It needs a lot but we'll see how it goes.

Good Morning.
60 with a high of 75 for today, rain is gone, sun is out.
Total rain for yesterday was 1.35” spread over a long period, so most got absorbed into the very dry ground.
Things should start to green up a bit, I’ll likely have to do some mowing this week.

Yesterday went to Primeweld in NJ with a friend that bought a fixture table and a plasma cutter. Really nice people to deal with, and gave him a good discount for picking the stuff up, as they offer free shipping.
We saw a tractor trailer merge into the lane to the left of it already occupied by a Honda SUV, the Honda went into the shoulder, hit the guard rail and came across all three lanes as it spun around and went up on two wheels, but it stayed up right and stopped facing oncoming traffic. We were able to avoid it, as did everyone else. The truck never stopped, I don’t think it ever made contact with the SUV. We did catch up with it and was able to get a picture of the license plate and operator info, which we shared with LE.

Got home home in time for a late lunch, took care of some chores, thought about washing the car and tractor but the rain got in the way. So it turned into an energy conservation afternoon, made reservations for training in Orlando next week, for hotel and car, the training centers are booked almost a year in advance, which can make things interesting.

Today is off to Portland, ME where it’s overcast and raining, hope to be back early afternoon to try and be productive today.
