I turned 60 this year. My assistant informed me that because of my age (he didn't put it quite as nicely) I needed a flu shot. I got my flu shot two weeks ago. Guess who has the flu? Not me, I'm fine. My 30 something assistant with the big mouth is home with the flu. I feel bad for him but I can't help but laugh a little. Yep, one day I may reach middle age.

21 , might get to 30 today. Need to finish up the opener on the barn. Pretty cold to be working outside! Tomorrow Joanie goes in for her lumpectomy. Her sisters, mother, father, and friends will all be there. She has a awesome family.

Are you gonna do a catered turkey day since your kitchen is still unfinished? All your descriptions sound fantastic and I hope you'll post up a photo or two when done. Remodeling can be exciting, especially when you are doing it.

It was 18 at the ranch when I checked it about 0430, then I went back to bed and overslept (forgot to set the alarm). The chicken waterer was frozen solid. I need to find a better heated one than I used last year...

I had all 3 gilrs all weekend and it was FABULOUS!

The house is still a mess, but the bedrooms, half of the the Living room (where the TV is), and both bathrooms were clean and functioning before I picked them up. I will take a couple days off to clean and settle in.

As a bonus for reasons I'm not clear on, I also get them for Thanksgiving!!!
