good morning all
surprisingly warm 52 out now, rain coming in later today and continuing overnight.
At least I see the snow predicted for next week has now turned to rain.
no plans for today other than a school board finance meeting late afternoon.
got my new sheets in for rv and have been washing them. Got a new comforter; will send the one that comes with rv out
to dry cleaners. Who knows what stories it would tell...I'm certainly not using it til I know it's clean.
also added a new small tool to my collection, tire depth gauges, should be a little more accurate than using a quarter.
4 year old tires have 30k miles on them, pretty sure fronts are lower than I want, but dual rears look fine. Oem tires are Hankook Dynapros, an ok
tire but only chosen for low price to builder. I will likely change out the tires to Michelin Agilis for better wet weather grip at some point.
snowdrops came up yesterday, in a shaded spot, will take a pic this morning. Planted them last Fall, along with 130 tulips and all kinds of other bulbs.
We still have nights in the mid twenties forecast.
I could not find decent welded wire fencing nearby so ordered some from Amazon. Decided that was a must to protect the strawberries I'm planting.
Plus the electric fence. Do birds fly in and peck strawberries? Wonder if I need to put up netting, makes picking a chore.
have a safe and fun day
