just got back from drug store, endodontist put me on a third antibiotic, azithromycin, plus a prednisone pack.
Guess I'll sleep well tonight...
best laid plans, car was all nice and clean in garage, now salt slimed, all the roads locally heavily salted.
David, you be careful with the snow there. You might have to put some socks on your sandals....perish the thought.
neighbors coming over in an hour, more hot cider
one of the two local roads shut down not far from me, big tree across the whole thing, had to backtrack and go to town the other way.
With all the dead ash trees remaining, and the high winds coming in, there is no way power will stay on. It's already gone off for several minutes a few hours ago.
with the cost of taking down a normal dead tree running between one and two thousand dollars here, and way more if a big truck needed, lots of folks haven't been taking down their dead trees.
Fine for tree to fall in the woods and scare the squirrels. Not fine like two weeks ago when neighbor's tree knocked out power for five homes.
My gen is ready to go with a full 40 pound tank. Will be a real low temp test, little tanks and very cold weather means inadequate vaporization and low power.
8 degrees tonight, high of 18 tomorrow.
Santa had better put on his long underwear.
wind is really picking up, trees in woods waving back and forth, coating of white on ground
time to go heat up the cider.
