Covid test is negative. But don’t know what it is. Got a telemedicine appointment later.

3 yrs ago pneumonia led to my GBS, don’t want that again.

Signs and symptoms of respiratory syncytial virus infection most commonly appear about four to six days after exposure to the virus. In adults and older children, RSV usually causes mild cold-like signs and symptoms. These may include:

  • Congested or runny nose
  • Dry cough
  • Low-grade fever
  • Sore throat
  • Sneezing
  • Headache

Garage cleanout progressing, think I have enough room for the foam boards to be inside now.
It's an oversized 2 car, but pretty full of "stuff"

Think I will leave the outlet boxes on the wall as they are Nailed to the cement block and can't see how to remove them unless I drill them out.

Anyone think think this is a bad idea??

I should be able to get the foam board under the conduit most likely

Drew - sounds like an Arduino with Wifi for your clock to talk to the computer. The arduino code would be easy, the PC side would be more work. As Fuddy mentioned BT transmitter and receiver. Might have to put a resistor in to attenuate the speaker output to BT though. Pretty easy.

Sodamo - Kubota is toast ?? Water damage that bad? mud? vapor locked engine?

LS - hope the knee gets sorted out. Seems this has been going on a while.

We think wife had RSV, it's been quite common around here. Symptoms sound just like M7040 listed.

Fudged around a little on this cold day. The house is better sealed with 3 windows sealed for air infiltration and finished setting up the basement furnace and running it on oil currently to test it out. Might load it with wood during severe cold spells to run it full time. The oil firing is handy to start a wood fire and then cut it off when going good. In the meantime will use it on oil on a spot basis as needed to supplement the upstairs wood stove. It can run on coal too but it is too messy to deal with.
Found the Fluid Film gallon can and air sprayer that was used to undercoat the truck. The air coupler was broken so used a tap out to remove the stub and replaced with a high flow Milton air coupler. This will be used to spray the Boss V Plow for the Kubota RTV to hopefully avoid sticking of snow and ice. Also will spray the bigger plow for the tractor. Last few years were low snowfalls but we are due for a big one I think.
Also set up an air chuck that locks on to fill the portable air storage tanks without having to hold it during filling. The electric heat in the side room in the barn makes all the difference in comfort up there.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 14C and it's presently 18.7C, mostly cloudy and calm. There was 11.5mm in the gauge at 0715... the rain occurred in the early hours of this morning.

I did get the house/driveway mowed yesterday and the piles of clippings raked/dumped, then used my blower to clean off the 'entertainment area' of the house. Penelope the pussybeast was none too pleased with the outdoor activity. Relaxed for the rest of the day.

Church this morning.

That's about it, take care all.

Afternoon all!
Currently 35 dropping to 24 tonight with a high of 33 for tomorrow.
Spent the day today finishing up Christmas gifts to hand out to friends and neighbors.

Hands are sore now so will be taking the rest of the weekend off except for keeping the stove running. Sister sent me a pic of getting the grout work done. Came out nice! Needs some paint and we can start something else. Think I will be taking the winter off though. To darn cold. Lol.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy.

My funny Ivermectin story. First, everyone should read about it, it's interesting from trusted sites. Of course the FDA says don't take it .
My wife & I have had same doctor 35 years. I called him a couple years ago about us getting a prescription. Doctor had never heard of it! I said no problem, we have it for horses & we can measure it by weight and take it...he said don't do that!
He said he'd research it, let us know the next day. Next day call all excited saying wow! That's amazing stuff and I called in prescriptions. One little pill, $3.
I told him our pets had parasites we handled, so good we took it.
Ivermectin is amazing if you research it.
