Yep, know that place. If you went to scenic view orchard we have friends up on the hill behind it. You probably took Manahan road. Our scouts clean up the group camping site on that road every spring. One year when they were there, President Bush came biking down the road, and stopped to talk to some of the scouts.
I’ve camped there with them when the President was at the camp. They let us in with the road closed.
Yes that is where we went The view from there is spectacular It is not very far from our house. When we leave our place we have so many wonderful scenic roads to take between Maryland and Southern PA. Remember the days when we lived in big cities it could take hours to clear traffic and not even get out into nature like we can here out the backdoor

HBD to Mark’s wife.

The Kawasaki race bike is now officially a runner. When I won it in the raffle, it was allegedly “ready to race”. No it wasn’t…..it was a $100 motorcycle that needed a lot of work. And parts. It still needs some odds and ends, but it runs, it is amazingly quick…wow! Even lofts the front wheel quite well. Took it up and down the road 3 times.

Good (Tuesday) morning. A cool overnight temperature of 3.0C and things are warming up nicely to 18C. There was 4mm in the gauge over the weekend. Clear sky.

A great weekend was had. The 'paranormal investigation' (in Ward C, Male criminally insane!) started slow and then heated up with many of the 'trigger' objects being activated. It was a lot of fun.

Sunday, we caught an afternoon movie... that "Top Gun, Maverick" show, which was quite enjoyable. The evening was the "Postmodern Jukebox" concert from 2000 to 2230. Fantastic!!!

Home drive was uneventful and the evening was spent watching the Queen's funeral.

Now it's just a matter of waiting for Penelope the pussybeast to come in (don't want to 'spook' her) and then getting her into the carrier so that I can take her to the cattery for my, and my Mate's, trip to Canada starting Thursday.

So if you don't hear from me 'til mid October, don't worry.

Take care all.

Safe travels, Randy. Be sure to get your fill of poutine and fresh Labatt's Blue while you're there.
