Good morning, the low is 53 and going up to 72°F. Wind E 11 mph. 60% chance of showers.
It is not raining right now, but that could change.
If it isn't raining, later around 10 ish, I will start cleaning out the truck.
Depending on how hard it is raining, I might have a shower.

way behind here. Lots of mowing. Done about 8 acres so far and another maybe 5 to do but pretty easy going stuff. Took my old ride-on to my daughters and mowed her yard while she was at work. It is a full 1/4 acre so she appreciated it as she only has a push mower. Going to be a multi mowing season I think. Spring now and grass is growing already.
Now 7.30 at night and all screened windows and doors open as it is still 21.5 deg C. Beautiful day with just a nice breeze.
Got to fly my planes and had a BBQ at the field. Good company.
Just been informed DIL and 2 children may be coming to stay for a bit while they look for alternative accommodation. Not sure how I'll cope with that as kids go to school and bring home lurgys which we have managed to avoid for the last 12+ years. Too old to deal with that now.
Snakes and lizards/goannas are getting about now. Ran over a 2 meter python the other day. Tried to avoid it but went back and checked and it seemed ok. I only re-locate them if they are around the house.
Haven't read last few pages yet so sorry if I have missed anything. Hope Roy is on the mend by now.
Oh, our new washing machine started leaking underneath somewhere. I contacted manufacturer and they said they would get a service person down straight away. They rang back a few minutes later and said that no-one would service it in my area. (only 30 minutes from city) So they rang the shop where I bought it and told them to give me a refund. So today we went in and selected another brand of washer. (Haeir) We already have a Haeir in the back laundry we bought earlier this year and it works OK. New one is bigger.

I had a nice afternoon mowing the lawn at the farm. Pretty amazing how much it grew since last week. I'm still enjoying the mowing. Some years I have gotten tired of it about this time of year.
Here is a song called Banjo riff, so you guys who don't care for banjo can skip it.
Looks like I need to mow here at the house. It has only been 3 days. We are getting heavy dew in the morning.

Outside cores done E muffin time.
2:30am owl decided to do some hooting good half an hour near the open bedroom window.
Plans for today...trip to town for fuel and critter food,have 2 small areas near driveway needs good raking,mow the main lawn only where it needs it...looks to be out doors day for sure.

Good morning! 75˚, muggy, heading to the mid 90s.
We will do some new trail blazing along the creek on a track of land just acquired by the neighborhood with the hiking trail blazers group. It's always good to have the trail in before the houses are built. This will be chain saw work so I'm guessing it will be only a few hours in the heat. I have never seen this area about a mile away so it will be interesting to lay out the new trail and look for points of interest.
