My new neighbor has decided to cut down all the trees and shrubs that created a privacy fence between us and then he texted me if it I would mind after he did it. What would you do? interesting in your suggestions?

I'd start another tree/shrub privacy fence on my property.
If you don't have that much time a wood or metal fence would also work.

No he wanted to expand the area he owns. He only cut cut down a small portion of it. It is the property closets to our house. It his right to do with it whatever he wants but we don't like it

Haven’t grown the yellow, just green (not as good IMHO) and the purple. When I lived on Oahu I had 6 bushes that just kept producing. Rabbit pellets as fertilizer. I supplied all the immediate neighbors with eggplant.
Recently tried some in the air fryer. Seasoned per a roasted tomato recipe and the air fried, but never got crispy, but still delicious.
