Good late (Tuesday) morning. A very mild overnight Low of 11C! Some brief, heavy, rain squalls that left 5.4mm in the gauge by 0900. It has rained again since then and, although sunny and 16.6C now, more rain is predicted for the arvo.

I plan to do a tip-run and then swing by the PO as I've been alerted that I've got mail in my PO Box.

Spring is beginning to 'occur' but I know that it's only a tease... there'll be more Winter weather on the way. :cautious:

Take care all.

My wife said no new projects until I finish the current ones.

like that will happen.

i believe that all wives say that ... so i bought HER a project car :)

daugen and popgadget ... sounds like a good day. i haven't met anybody from TBN yet, other than 1-2 friends that i invited to TBN forum

wngsprd - that is a lot of stuff planted

i'm basically ready for tomorrow's dump run, will need truck emptied prior to the afternoon pickup load
fuel pumps are no fun ... i have a couple of projects requiring that, and have done that a few times in the past
tomorrow will be a busy day, mostly at home, probably need to wash more eggs also
some car guys are stopping by to give me a hand later in the week, i need to restock beverages before that happens. mostly i think they just want to see what i have on the property
my fingertip is burning sore tonight, still the nerve damage from my dislocated shoulder... it feels like a needle or splinter is wedged into the finger. that and my legs are in spasms again. if i was a smart man, i should probably make some coffee.

have a good night everyone

good morning all
up early, slept well.
laying in bed thinking about how I'm going to back my car and trailer out my driveway onto main road with totally blocked sight lines.
The trailer can see, but I can't....hmmmm. Was thinking about possibly driving around in front yard so I could go out forward.
I hate backing up onto busy roads. Not so hot on my neck either. Next time I'll dismount the trailer and turn it around. Since I was going out the next day
left it the way I came in. Probably should have backed in to begin with. Sigh. No turnaround in driveway is a real nuisance. This should be interesting.
As long as I don't hit the power pole on the other side of the road, should be good.

Drew wonder if manatee got dirty so to get brushing :)

Yup, you are correct. Wife used to scold him/her that they were intentionally mucking around the night before so they could get a longer scrub.
She loved it. The manatee seemed to love it. And when the manatee brought its baby to show her, well she was really excited.
we were in a very protected marina inland, more like parking in an aquatic parking lot than a river or bay marina. Intracoastal Waterway about 200 feet away, critters would
be out there and come in to marinas likely trying to get away from boats. These are very cool, very peaceful animals, vegetarians, browsing sea cows.
With whiskers like a seal and really bad breath. Animal got a lecture on its bad breath every time.

Swim platform not all that wide, but she was determined, hauling that romaine lettuce down that rear ladder and either sitting on swim platform with her feet in the water so she could feel the animal and vice versa, or sometimes lying down on platform having a discussion. Always wondered if manatee liked the sound of her voice.
Certainly liked her lettuce. Funny, didn't like cheaper iceberg, but the romaine was closer to something they ate in the wild because it got gummed happily.

After three years living on the boat, it was time to go back to Pennsylvania.
miss the boat, miss her the most, time for new chapter in book of life, which was my farm in NC.

off to mow at church early then possibly some rain this afternoon or tonight.
I'm picking up my new inflatable Coleman hot tub at Lowes on way home, will call brother to come help me get big box down to basement, then I
have to build it. Have to figure out water and electrical connections first. Simple plug in, but not much is ever simple
