fun morning at Popgadgets. Heated the hitch and with a giant adjustable wrench bent it back into alignment.
Then some wiring work, and adjusting the brakes which was made easier by taking off rear wheel.
My friend's Dad was an aircraft mechanic and he had some shared experiences with Paul.
They are both good mechanics. Popgadget is exceptional.

unloaded Gravely and put it in garage, need to sit and stop sweating, pretty hot out there.
I'll go back out and do paint prep and put on primer on the hitch.
Will paint it red tomorrow. Finally the beat up old ball goes back on. Might try to buff that up a bit.
It's seen a lot of miles. Like me. I could use a little buffing right now... :sneaky:

was working on north sidewalk when moving extra trash can got stung by wasp that had made nest on can's handle. Hit the nest with wasp spray, then let them settle down, knocked nest down when I found wasps back on nest,. While waiting for wasps to settle down,
OUCH... something that small.

My wife said no new projects until I finish the current ones. like that will happen.
My projects are self starting - Was a day off from leaving Ms for Va. Valve for laundry washer in bsmt sprung a leak. While fixing that the a/c drain (installed BEFORE we bought in 2010) backed up and required replacing, had to replumb that on a weekend. Simple projects but not planned for and it's a 2 hour drive for parts.

View attachment 760204Busy day yesterday replacing fuel pump in youngest sons pickup. Always seems to be a hot day when repairs are needed.View attachment 760205
Recently I was changing the gasket under the fuel pump in our Sprinter Van but I was not able to screw the fuel pump in again because leaking brake fluid had caused the tank nozzle to deform. So a small repair turned into a new tank and new brake lines. Tank dropped down being suspended with two straps and that gave access to the brake lines.

RNG, I used this plastic bonding cement. I'll post a pic of the pressure relief valve connection that was leaking. Found that most glues were not reco for polystyrene, and this one works. It was not the one I was looking for, but did a fine job.
