Back from our road trip..... we went all the way to Arizona! There is a little strip of very old buildings that are "tourist trap" shops. It was called "Yellowhorse trading post". Neat place, really done up in the old west theme. Lots of pottery and Navajo goods / jewelry.
Max had his 'field break', and we started back towards home. There were a couple spots that had a flash flood go across I-40 a few days ago. There were some really big loaders and excavators clearing the dirt and rock. There was actually damage to guardrails and dividers. Never underestimate the power of water!
Stopped at a place called "Laguna Burger", which is on the Acoma / Laguna pueblo reservation. The 1/2 lb buffalo burgers are are simply irresistible and delectable! .... and fries cut from a fresh whole potato when you order. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
Max enjoyed his ride in the car. It is funny how he knows he is going for a ride.... first, he starts getting a bit excited when he sees 'mother' putting on her jeans.... then, when she gets her purse... well all bets are off --- Max is now jumping at his harness / leash. No turning him off until he goes for a ride. He has been this way since puppyhood. Oh, he loves the RV too!
Time to go stretch out..... after 378 miles of sitting in the drivers seat, I need to straighten up.
Everyone have a great evening!
