Good morning!!!!

Good late morning..... low was 60°, going for a high of 82°. It's already 74 at 10:00. Good chances of an afternoon T-storm, but there isn't a cloud to be seen.

Buppies, I sure hope you and the Mrs. can get back on top... extra prayers sent your way.

Same with Randy, strange for him not to check in... hope everything is OK.

I was fortunate to sleep in this morning.... woke up before dawn, but rolled over and must have found a comfortable position because the next time I woke up it was after 8.

Enjoyed a couple cups of coffee out on the porch. Watched the birds fight over positions on the feeder. They must be related to the birds that RS has.... they throw half the seed out getting to that "special" millet. Maybe they are just trying to help the ring neck doves and the grouses feed on the ground.

Today's agenda is to tackle the other half of the yard.... I am relatively certain that I won't have enough mulch to finish it up. Cheapest on sale at HD is $3 per bag. We probably need about 10 bags guestimate, so won't be too costly. I don't know where 130 bags went......

I can't believe that today is one year already since we lost our little Kassie. I still miss her very much. She was my little cuddle-bug.

Everyone have a great day!

home from mowing, got it all done, and packing up to leave, hot, filthy, tired and the rear ramp fell off the trailer again. No retaining pin.
Too heavy for me to pick up but I tried in the heat and said enough of that. Called good friend, he came over and helped me put it back on.
Another thing to fix on that trailer

I'll send Toppop an email and see what's happening.

tempted to add a down force cylinder to the post hole digger, as that would put me in some shade in the garage by the afternoon. I've had the parts for more than a year, waiting to get a round tuit...

I thought about adding downforce, but I would have had to make most of the parts, my PHD was an older, but very heavy duty bush Hog brand, and the kit was no longer available. Looked like one of the PIA tasks was to add a return direct to the tractor sump.
My ultimate solution was to get a hydraulic auger for the loader. That gave me down force AND reverse!
It wasn’t inexpensive though, even with the $800 I got for the 3PT one.

Drew, how does ramp fall off?

Severe thunderstorm warning. Coming right at us. Sky getting dark.

Cat is getting put down later, kids are spending time with him.

Buckeye, it mounts on two horizontal pins with nothing to stop it from sliding off, no retention clips or anything at the end. Only the gate pins hold it into the frame; the whole gate can slide
sideways on those nicely lubricated pins.
So I'm trying to mount two females onto two males, and it weighs well over a hundred pounds. With another fellow's help, we could horse it back into
position. I thought about drilling the hinge and putting a pin in it, but then I'd have to pull the pin when lowering, and that's exactly when the whole thing falls off.

I'm making a long list of stuff for Popgadget to fix. Minds smarter than mine will figure a way.

94F and sunny @ 14:30 ... so we've already bested the predicted high by 2F. Starting to see some clouds build.

Soil temp is currently 82F with a 24-hour average of 75.7F ... so it's easy to see why it drying out.

Ran up and turned the AC on in the shop.

Got two more tomato plants repotted, one was a big one.

Also mixed up a gallon of fertilizer juice and used that to water the repotted plants.

Got the Menards rebates put in an envelope and about to run them up to the mailbox.

After that I'll run around back and water the two tomato plants in the ground with the fertilizer juice and get that cage put on the one.

After that will likely change and head up to the shop.

Or maybe head over to the northwest planting bed and do some more water/fertilizing if there is shade.

71°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 95° today.

Plans for yesterday evening went in the trash after Wife called me on her way to a training about 5:30pm to tell me that she found a young lady driving her personal vehicle for Amazon deliveries (that's apparently a thing now) had a flat tire about a mile up the road from us. So, I drove up there to change it for her. She had an older Jeep Liberty, and the right front tire had blown. No amount of pressure I put on the lug nuts would move them. I went back to the house to get a cheater bar, and even the extra four feet wouldn't budge them. In fact, I twisted and bent the tool. Told her there was no way I could get those off. She called her insurance company to get a tow truck, and the tow company that called her said they couldn't get to her and would need to "reschedule." She reminded them that she was "out in a corn field 50 miles from home," so rescheduling wasn't an option. I suggested she just try a local company. She picked a different one than I suggested, and they showed up about 20 minutes later. Guy got out his Milwaukee impact driver, and fought to get the first one off before breaking the second one in half, leaving the beveled half under the rim. So, he gave up, too, and just pulled it up on the flatbed and took her into Highland. She is no longer pleased with the company that last rotated her tires.

I did get some work done in the studio when I got back home, but all of a sudden it was 10pm and Mr Sandman was calling.

Got into work this morning, and my computer is acting goofy. Had to re-download Firefox to get it to work. It updated, and was suddenly missing a couple of files. So, had to start over, and lost all my shortcuts and favorites. Took me to the fourth password try to log in here.

Happy Canada Day to our friends in The Great White North. 🇨🇦

Good morning, gents.
That's more than plate full PJ.

Dad decided to use FEL to move my riding mower out of the barn. I can see the battery tender still clipped to the battery, and the hood open. Sigh.

New one arrived.
