Installed 40 feet of vinyl two rail fence this afternoon after the drizzle quit. Fifty more feet left to go but must say very gratifying. Had to have help though and wife came thru again. Maybe this weekend can finish but digging or planting the posts sure was easier in moist dirt thanks to all the drizzle of the past three days

Actually, my 4400 was built in Augusta, Georgia. It does have a Yanmar engine though.
I used to work for a Harley supplier. In fact, your handlebars, luggage rack, engine guard and running light bracket may have been manufactured by the company (in Hanover, PA).
I still keep in touch with those folks and others who are affiliated with HD. The percentage of imported parts (not just China, but I'm told that the percentage of Chinese parts is increasing annually) has been substantial for years. It won't be to long before the only "made in America" aspect will be the advertising.
