Wow, so many up so early today.
71˚ heading to the 80s - cloudy. We had a total of 1.8" of rain this weekend and more showers all the way till Wednesday. Wonderful weather!!!!!! I'll try to mow my extended yard in-between showers as soon as the weeds dry a bit - dust free. My next tractor will have to have a cab.

I feel a bit younger this week. Its now hard to believe that 5 days ago my knee was really swollen, and I was on crutches and pain pills, but today my knee is almost completely healed and I'm on the go again. My knee can finally handle the complete revolution the stationary bike and cardio strider so I can do my cardio again! The day before my knee surgery I had a blood test for the cardiologist. He left a message last week and said everything was perfect and to do exactly what I'm doing.

Why didn't someone warn me that getting older would take this much work?

Wedding went off without any problems, was going to say "without a hitch but all was very nice
the weather took a slight change with overcast and the temps went down into the high 40ç—´, but the clouds made for easy picture taking!
It is 36 degrees right now and heading up into the 60ç—´ and partly cloudy

Wayne, I'm a bit "late to the dance," but I just want to say how terrific that tent and area looked for your daughter's wedding. That kind of wedding provides many more pleasant memories than ones conducted in some huge edifice. I'm sure all your guests and relatives really appreciated your efforts to bring about a successful event. I wish all the best for your daughter and new hubby. May they one day be setting up for the weddings of their own kids with some help from grandpa.

Oh yes. . . it's 67 F here this morning with steady rain. Not a lot of rain yet, only 3/10", but it is coming down pretty steady.

Holy cow!

I am not into motorcycles, but might get on one for a ride. Closest I've come to riding a Harley, was having one parked in my garage overnight, after a friend had too much to drink and crashed on my sofa.

Are you sure you didn't get this backwards with the Harley crowd it's usually the Harley by the couch and the friend sleeping in the garage???? :drink:

Cool morning here around 50 but should hit 70 this afternoon. Going to be a beautiful day for Thanksgiving.:thumbsup: Having all the family over for supper and I will have a few beers for all my TBN friends.

Good morning all. 43F at start 72F for the high cloudy with light breeze. BIL/SIL coming for breakfast, and TWP the back wall today. Rain is forecast for tomorrow hope I get more rain than I got out of the last system.

The Red Sox came from behind to beat the Tigers 6-5 last night. Grand slam by Ortiz. Sharon and my brother over in Tiger territory were jabbing at each other on Facebook during the game. :laughing:

David MossFlower, Those are all healthy thoughts. You have identified and laid out your challenges, and I can understand your completely normal fear of the unknown results. Wish I had some silver bullets for you.

I congratulate you for your patience and especially for maintaining a good relationship with your girls. I'm pretty sure I would have done a "situation reset" by now if I was in your position, but I can see how that would lock-in some of those potential fears as hard realities too. I don't think you are being selfish or self-centered to want to avoid some of those consequences for the sake of your girls.

Please don't answer, but I wonder if you have set some time limit to your situation, as in--this is the day I resume my life? I guess I would start that process by asking your wife if she is in or out, yes or no. Your support network has been great, but don't overlook the depression-enabling nature of that support.

I'm sure you've seen it but if not get ahold of the movie "Fever Pitch" with Jimmy Fallon. Best Red Sox movie and one only Sox fans can understand or appreciate.
