Mix the Drambuie
Stepdaughter added Ginger Beer (which is spicy if you get the right stuff). She enjoyed it...

Any other suggestions for a mixer? I think Drambuie is normally the mixer to a more potent spirit most the time...Scotch is what I've read

Rusty Nail, as I recall

Found this. Very appropriate in these times.

That's true...same in Pennsylvania
IIRC, it's called jacklighting and mostly for going after deer at night. I'm not a hunter, but I think deer will freeze in place if a bright light is shined on them.
Obviously, not interested in doing that since I'm not a hunter and I don't eat venison

stopping at step brother in law's in New Hope on way home from church on Sunday, will meet his sister from Oahu, and I'm told they are grilling
some of those garlic scapes for me. ok. When growing up my Father always said we had the right of first spitout. Meaning, you really had to try it, and if you
really didn't like it, you could spit it out. But into your mouth it went. I can thank a life long love of food for that early attention.

finally back home. Long but very successful day.
Struggled with golf cart. Six inches too long driving straight in, as expected.
Made sure I knew what would hit first, turns out to be the spring shackles, not the rear end, so I laid
a towel on the railing and just backed up gently. Two inches to spare. Yeah. (y)(y)

Then used the Rhino ramps to get the mower in. Got very frustrated with rear gate, kept falling out, no cotter pins or retaining clips in it.
Paybacks for all the slippery lube I put on it.
It was too heavy to pick up so had to get rolling garden cart to help me put it on. And it fell off again...just before I was going to leave, and I had to start all over again
with the cart. groan. I was soaked in sweat by then, grabbed a bottle of diet sports water, which really helped, and headed off with mower for church.

Mowed about 3.5 hours until low gas light came on, I had forgotten the spare gas tank, glad I did, I was pretty tuckered out by now.
need to take a long hot shower and put my feet up.

Left mower on the trailer, headed back over again tomorrow morning to finish.

need to fab up a mount for the spare tire. What came with it fits only the wide beam in the middle pic. Everything else is angle iron.
I think I know a Mr Wizard with a welder. I really want to buy another welder, one more thing that got sold. I wasn't very good but it was very
satisfying to use. And I think I want to up my game one step to one of the IGs. This is something I would enjoy welding.

Toppop, hope you are feeling better.
Drew,

Good job working through the issues with the gate. Be careful hauling the cart backwards on the trailer. I have seen them crack or blow out the windshield from the wind. Always make sure it is in the lowered position. Even the bottom section is at risk towing backwards.

Good caution, I did not think of that.

thanks guys. If I'm doing 4 hours at 65mph, you bet, it's going to be tied down every which way. I asked about the top.
Was told seriously, keep it under 110. Ok. I can do that. I was cautioned about securing windshield and not just let those press in
rubber fittings be depended upon. Could really hurt someone if it flew off and around the tail gate. Everything gets secured, nothing gets just
laid in to bounce, and get airborne.

turkey tetrazinni, lasagna, meat loaf, beef stew, spaghetti and meatballs
all good dinners my Mother made
she didn't experiment with ethnic much, maybe a curried chicken once in a while. Which I loved and others whined about.
