Roy, better be careful with that..... planes might start landing in the yard!

I will be waiting for the pic to see how everything gets lit up!
It's bright!!
Give it a better try tonight.
I don't camp, but my stepdaughter does with friends occasionally.
Per the ads and instructions, this light should run for 35 hours using a 5 A/h battery at the low setting...make a nice night light.
For my purposes, pretty much an emergency light if we lose power. We have a number of emergency lamps and lanterns around the house.
Wood stove is there, if we need heat

I think I'd written late last winter, I purchased an EGO snow blower:

I already had the single stage blower (shown in the video) which works good up to 8" or so, if dry snow...6" if wet. It's not self-propelled and I haven't decided if I'll keep it (use it on the back deck) or sell it.

The 2 stage machine is a beast...used for the walks and places I can't get with the 3PH PTO blower. It also has 4 pretty bright LED lights which are handy since I frequently clear snow well before dawn

Good Morning All

Flood Water sandbagging efforts going on in this region. We are safe ... and on "Higher Ground" (fitting) - oddly, this week the city Announced Watering Restrictions (seasonal) to two days a week in town, Doesn't apply to us - out of town, and on a well. We've had a LOT of rain, perhaps the flood water concerns is why the water restrictions are on ... who knows ??? just a thought

NHBX - still one of their best songs released, I'm grooving to it :)

toppop52 - prayers continue

Rich B1 - glad that you are safe. clean-up will take some time I'm sure, be careful, no twisted ankles ...

sodamo - also praying

mostly_gas - I want to thank you for the prayer summary list. I follow that, has allowed me to catch up so that I know what is going on.

gotta go for now, catch up later

Same here...age has something to do with it, but I think it's more the ticker ain't what it used to be.
I'm relatively active (for my age), but I do have to stop and take a breath more often

I blame it on age. Relatively healthy as well, but can’t keep up with my younger self.

81F, breezy, and fair @ 12:30, HI 82F, that should be the high for today. Will be much cooler tomorrow with only a high of 69F followed by a cooler period of several days. High temps and thunderstorms due in again this coming Tuesday.

Hopper feeder likely due to be refilled, also at least one suet feeder.

First item on the agenda for the day after that will be to get the mowing done down here around the house before it gets any longer. Will try out the new ear muffs.

After that's done, there should be enough shade on the east side of the garage to lay on the blacktop and get the oil and filter changed on the Cub, along with cleaning the pre filter for the air cleaner.

Then probably see about moving that aquarium stand planter outside and loading up the empty pots with potting mix so they can be planted.

Check plants to see if they need watered.

Glad to hear Rich and Co. made it through the storms safely, wishing him a quick and easy clean up.

Hopefully top will check in and give us a report on his progress.

Hope everyone has a great TGIF ... (y)

finally back home. Long but very successful day.
Struggled with golf cart. Six inches too long driving straight in, as expected.
Made sure I knew what would hit first, turns out to be the spring shackles, not the rear end, so I laid
a towel on the railing and just backed up gently. Two inches to spare. Yeah. (y)(y)

Then used the Rhino ramps to get the mower in. Got very frustrated with rear gate, kept falling out, no cotter pins or retaining clips in it.
Paybacks for all the slippery lube I put on it.
It was too heavy to pick up so had to get rolling garden cart to help me put it on. And it fell off again...just before I was going to leave, and I had to start all over again
with the cart. groan. I was soaked in sweat by then, grabbed a bottle of diet sports water, which really helped, and headed off with mower for church.

Mowed about 3.5 hours until low gas light came on, I had forgotten the spare gas tank, glad I did, I was pretty tuckered out by now.
need to take a long hot shower and put my feet up.

Left mower on the trailer, headed back over again tomorrow morning to finish.

need to fab up a mount for the spare tire. What came with it fits only the wide beam in the middle pic. Everything else is angle iron.
I think I know a Mr Wizard with a welder. I really want to buy another welder, one more thing that got sold. I wasn't very good but it was very
satisfying to use. And I think I want to up my game one step to one of the IGs. This is something I would enjoy welding.

Toppop, hope you are feeling better.

LS Tractor owner
Today is Saturday here and YES, I have the truck loaded and plan for the maiden today. Also threw in a couple of electric Wings for a bit of fun.
The Tiger was a struggle to fit in the truck it is so big but careful packing got it in finally. Wings went in the cab on back seat. Big one only just fitted in. Had to be careful shutting the door.
