My wife gave me the best haircut ever, then I finished transplanting the future Christmas trees and backfilling the holes. Only had to get 4 places squirted by the dermatologist yesterday and stopped by Costco to buy the heavy stuff that my wife didn't want to handle the other day since her shoulder is worse than mine (40 lb bags of birdseed and potting soil).

While waiting for Costco to open, browsed around Northern Tool with some coupons burning a hole in my pocket. Finally decided to try a set of Bluetooth hearing protectors (3M, Eric). Man, are they nice...much better sound protection than my old cracking ones, and the Bluetooth worked well...I was surprised how well I could hear the music, not turned up loud, while doing the 2nd complete mow of the season.

Good Morning.
It’s 55 and headed to 70 overcast, but dry until late this afternoon with rain showers and thunderstorms.

Yesterday was just about perfect weather wise. I got 5 coats of finish on the speakers, they are ready for final assembly once it cures.

My neighbor came over with his new drone, so I got mine out as well. It was interesting to see his flip itself right side up in the water and fly away.

Took some pictures from my drone as well-

We didn’t get together and play music, but overall it was a good day.

Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 5:15AM. A steady rain this morning. Showers continuing this afternoon. High around 65F. Winds SSE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall around a half an inch. Higher wind gusts possible.
Looks like it'll dry out for Sunday and Monday, then more rain Tuesday-Thursday. Better late than never, I guess.

Plucked up my courage and slip-slided up the driveway yesterday morning to do some grocery shopping. Had to lift off the go pedal a couple times to reclaim steering, and hope I don't have to make a habit of doing that. I wasn't planning to put down any gravel, but may just have to. Don't need that kind of excitement in my life anymore.

The flexible electrical conduit I ordered two weeks ago still wasn't in, and neither was the chainsaw bar. Hope it's not more supply chain issues.

Need to fill the hummer feeders first thing this morning, but not sure what else I'll get up to. Lots of choices.

Good morning! 50 now, may get to 54 today, not holding my breath. It has rained overnight, may be more on the way.

Yesterday was busy. We mowed for the first time. I used on of the Craftsman garden tractors since I knew there was going to be a lot of stuff to be picked up. It ran flawless as usual. My wife used the other one that I hate, she loves. It had odd issues with charging as usual and the blade clutch wouldn’t stay engaged as usual. I despise that tractor. I can never find anything wrong with it, but it only sporadically charges.

Moved some stuff with the New Holland. Parked it, heard a hissing sound. On of my new front tires has a hole in it right at the junction of the sidewall and tread. Looks like a puncture. Just parked it until I can get the wheel off

Actually got the garden tilled. Was maybe a touch wet, but with the forecast, had to get it done. Had help from the guineas and some of the ducks.

Then off to the brewery for a cold one or 2, salad, and pizza. The brewery has rights to sell the original style of local pizza, which is, IME, a bit different than other pizzas. The original local style has a thick crust that is crunchy on exposed crust (like a hard roll), a sweet/spicy sauce, and uses Colby cheese instead of mozzarella. It is what I remember pizza was like growing up, my wife has become a fan of it as well.

Not sure what I will get into today. Need to take some pics of the radiator installation on the race and send it to the company that made the radiator. He wants to be sure I get the right hose the first time. What a novel idea! He also has some other helpful info.
