Good morning!!!!

good morning all
warm morning, warm day with rain coming in tonight.

my grandfather hated snakes. Since we had lots of rocks on the farm, that meant copperheads.
And a ton of little garter snakes. Poor garter snakes...he would beat them with his cane or if my father was anywhere nearby,
a sharp shovel would come out. We didn't know better and my grandfather did not want the kids bit by a copperhead for sure.
Our farm was not snake friendly at all.
When I got to NC, totally different. I had two nice black snakes that lived near the barn. And I only saw a copperhead once, little baby one
with bright green rattle on it. Neighbors taught me black snakes were great on the farm so while they spooked me at times if I saw them slithering around, I
figured I was on their turf too.

Problem is snakes are like mushrooms. Really hard to figure out which are bad for you.

think I'll make a grocery run this morning around 9, then finish doing laundry, all killing time before I head off to hospital to get port taken out.
Just a local, nothing to do, they said in and out in ten minutes. Yeah right. I take my Kindle so waiting a little doesn't bother me any more.
Took a long shower this morning, they said don't bathe for two days. Hopefully they will steri strip me so I don't have to go back for stitches removed.
An interesting way to lose weight. Maybe an ounce...

hope you all have a good day

Darn, another thing to stock up on.
If we thought not being able to get T6 was bad wait until all the delivery vehicles start breaking down because of no hydraulic fluid.
I've had a 300 gallon tote of DEF on order since November.

Only thing that has showed up so far is the air powered pump, dispenser, and hose reel.

Good Morning!!!! 55F @ 4:15AM. Sunny. High 68F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Same old story in the 10-day.

Sounds like a spot of rough sledding, Doug. Maybe a drive line shop could straighten the shaft?

I wouldn't feel safe traveling in Mexico, even Baja, these days either, Ken.

Headed south again on the touring bike today; somebody had a birthday and we're celebrating this weekend. Weather looks nice, but it'll be a windy return on Monday.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

Good Morning
It’s 51 and might make 60 today. It was single digits a few days ago.

Yesterday was productive, I went to a buddies shop and picked up some steel for my inventory. Got some 1/8” plate and various 1/4” flats. All from his scrap, so the price was right. Made some progress in the hangar, but not without frustration. They are wired so there is at least 6 hangars on each 20amp circuit. Which is not usually a problem, as the main use is lights. However with the cold weather, some tenants are running electric space heaters to keep their planes warm. The bottom line is that when I turned on my lights, the breaker tripped. When I went to reset it, I opened the panel and measured the load with a clamp on ammeter. 19 amps on 20 amp breaker, with my lights off. I was the only one in the entire complex of hangars, and couldn’t turn my lights on. I wasn’t altogether happy.

Today is the day to get anything done outside, but the ground will be sloppy. I’m planning on going back to the airport today, but I’ll bring my trusty Honda Eu2000 generator.

Emily seems to have stabilized, she still stumbles and occasionally falls, but she is happy to be by my side, and I’m happy to have her there.

I have not checked but wonder if Amdoil has hydro fluid?

My local Tractor Supply has plenty of their “Traveler” brand, both in 2 gallon jugs and 5 gallon pails.
I’m glad that I bought 5 pails of the Kubota synthetic UDT when the local dealer had it on sale in the fall. It was like $25 off on each pail.

Morning all, a very warm partly sunny 48.

Alien pasaplum? - Hope the flail damage isn't too bad. I have to mark the stumps in the woods or I would do the same, bought some orange marking paint. Usually the rocks that get my hammers chipped though.
We have lots of garter snakes, corn snakes every now and then. No Pythons here.

Jeep is off getting inspection, brake check and oil change. New place, hope they are good. Tired of the old place having to redo their work 2-3 times (hence the brake check).

Drew - hoping all goes according to plan and it don't hurt much. If you need any help send me an email or call.

Have fun RNG - Shame how mexico is going, now stopping avocados due to dr#g lord interference and threats.

PopG -emily does look happy, hope it stays that way for a good long time.

Stay safe and be well,

Found this picture right, this was right before my FIL sold the house. Needed too much work for us to take it.
Was built starting in the late 1700's and if you walk across the street you would be in the Delaware river.
New owner has done a lot of work and he has been fixing it up for 3 years now.
This house was on TV, Stone house revival.
