good morning all
it's a snowy morning here, about an inch and still coming down. 31 going up to 36 today, snow ending around noon.
Should make driving to church interesting, definitely going to leave early.
I bet most folks will be on zoom.

Randy, wonderful pic of grandkids.

Good morning.
It’s 29 and snowing. High of 35 with snow ending by noon.

Yesterday was a busy day, started with mini split install, we had the line set almost run when we noticed the supply house sent the wrong size with tithe unit. Fortunately we had the right size on the truck. After that it went smoothly and we were finished well before noon. This was a Mitsubishi high heat unit that will make heat when it’s well below zero outside, and with the temp around 40, it was cranking out the heat.

Next project was a lumber rack that was going to lag onto the wall in a friend’s garage wood shop. Got to use the new clamp setup on the welding table, and it was awesome, made it effortless to build it square and straight.

Youngest son stopped by to help with some barn chores, oldest son and grandson came by as well. Grandson just wanted to sit in the tractor and close the cab doors. Loader and 3PT were down, so I took the key out and let him have fun in his playhouse.
Apparently he was “pushing his mom’s buttons” so son took him out for a walk to see what grandpa was up to.

Good Morning!!!! 58F @ 5:00AM. Sunny to partly cloudy. Near record high temperatures. High 77F. Winds light and variable.

Spent a lot of time chasing stupid typing mistakes back in my coding days. Looking for effs was easy by comparison, and brought back some not so fond memories...

Still chasing stupid computer mistakes, wasting too much time at it yesterday. Managed to get some seat time in, and cleaned up a pile of branches and a few dead trees. Had just enough traction on the steep hillside to pull the stuff down.

It's Sunday and I'm hoping the construction guys get the day off in the canyon so there will be no delays. Gonna ride a loop up over the mountain, and will probably see some snow. Road reports seem to say everything's open, but we'll see.

Hope everyone enjoys enjoys the rest of their weekend (only one eff there)...

Don, the ROPS caught the branch. I forgot I had a ROPS. It came down and wedged me in somehow. Happened real quick. Reversed back and forgot about it until I realized the pain wasn't going to go away after a few days.

That’s more exciting than tripping over the curb and falling in the parking lot like I did. Mine are still very sore after almost a month.

Good morning! 19 now, high of 26 or so today.

I spoke too soon about the warmer weather helping. We got some rain over night Friday. Everything was covered in ice yesterday. Spent the day chopping paths, using up a bag of salt, etc. Sidewalk was clear, now I have paths to the barn and wood pile. Probably wasn’t the best tool, and it is going to need resharpened, but used one of the axes to cut through ice. Also drove the truck up to the barn to make a new path since the old path is a solid sheet of ice. My hands and back are feeling today.

Since that kept us busy, we never went to the shelter. Maybe today.

@RedNeckGeek - While neither Mike or I asked one of the museums, we did reach out to the 4 biggest parts suppliers who sell the parts, both NOS and reproduction. All 4 admitted they had never been able to figure out how they fit. Mike knows a number of people who are really into the preservation of the military M models and they admit they are not sure either . So blown up grainy photos, measuring parts, and exchanging a lot of text messages,we think we have it as correct as it will get. A BSA publicity photo from about 1938 of a military M20 blown up, gave us enough detail to at least try what we now think is correct. And I did take pictures. And I would guess one of us will make a drawing.

Everyone stay safe out there
