Mid thirties, got a rainy day coming Saturday, was hoping to do the front walk, but.... Did the back walk by motion light last night!

Good morning all!! 8 degrees this morning. I missed work yesterday cause of illness. I still feel like crap, but I will go in today. They are calling for 3-5 inches of snow thur late tonight. I'm ready for it!! Have a good day all!!!

Good morning all. Today is our transition day, going to above :thumbsup: freezing. Bad part is they are calling for freezing rain and that can cause a lot of problems if you are driving. Should see rain for a few days, it will take the ground a few days to thaw and usually it becomes a bit of a mess .

Weather man still saying Monday-Tuesday 40's..Monday more rain than snow,Think I'll get little fuel for generator also load of driveway sand just in case.

Looks like we'll just sneak by this storm,but folks central and south will get some seat time etc...4-8 inches.

Up early today...

24 degrees and a high of 33 expected.
It's snowing now. About 3" on the back porch with up to 5" expected. Might be sleet/freezing rain after the snow, so I'll wait until it all stops to plow.

Yeah, Roy... looks like, on radar, you guys are getting a fair bit of the white stuff. We're just getting a dusting of fine powder now, but it's turned colder again, about 5 at my place. Supposed to go below zero tonight.

I did get about 350 lbs of sand put on my driveway yesterday afternoon, in addition to the 200 or so I put on a couple days back.

Yesterday morning when I was snow-blowing, I did something I've never done before- because of all the ice I KNEW was beneath the 3" of powder we got, I put the ROPs up and the seat belt on.

Turned out OK, but I didn't relish the thought of sliding sideways down the driveway and into one of the drainage ditches on either side....

I heard one of our local plow trucks slid off the road in VT and nearly turned over. Nothing like a bit of powder over ice just to make things interesting!

...And I'm hearing the same thing Thomas is- hitting 40 with rain by Monday. What a roller coaster this year!
