Sipping first cup of hot coffee. 22° with light snow this morning. Heading to 25° with light snow most of the day. Got about 3" of snow since yesterday morning. Hard to tell because wind was blowing it around. Will get out with tractor and clean drive and walkways later today. I did get snow blade on tractor. Then worked at my conserve energy plans for the day. Hope to spend most of the day doing the same again today.
Cardinal showed up at feeders before it started to snow.

David, counter tops look great.

Drew, hope your finger is getting better. I remember getting those when I worked on boats. They hurt. Hope you got all the fibergalss out of wound.

Kyle, prayers your mother is doing good.

PJ, hope the trolley works out for the dog. I have one ready for Sassy. But have not used it. No other dog here. But lots of visiting critters. So far I have been able to pick her droppings up. The deer have been staying out in the field. Where she does not go. But she got into some a year ago and was sick for a couple of days.

good morning all
warm morning, overnight rain has stopped, 1.13 on the rain gauge.
Woke up to a dark outside, xmas lights turned off yesterday. Will take them down this week when it dries out.

Have a busy morning at church, my turn to do childcare which is sure not my strong point, and I have no idea if any, or what age,
kids will show up. One of our local Quaker Meetings has already shut down due to Omicron, all of us are nervous about socializing but we also
want life to go on. We have almost half a dozen members staying home right now due to sniffles and kids who were exposed.
Pretty clear we may have to transition to all zoom soon if more folks get affected. We are all vaccinated and masking but that sure isn't enough any more.
Distancing, HEPA 13 filtration, we are doing everything right but sooner or later someone will get sick and we have to adjust.
And at least temporarily, likely until June, it's on my shoulders to make good decisions.

Rich, nice Bultaco. I owned a 175 I think about 40 years ago, big knobby tires, fun to drive it on farm.
No more motorcycles for me.

I have to pick a friend up at Newark airport tomorrow, her return home flight, and sure hope the roads have been cleared by then.
Probably will be clouds of salt dust out on the roads. Folks at carwash just smile.

The weather people I read have been talking about this for a week or so. The NWS reads the same things just chose to stay quiet until closer to the event I guess. Still a bust factor though

Popgadget, nice photo of planes aligned up waiting. It's hard to beat a turboprop and warrant a jet for most folks, especially from a fuel/mile cost perspective. How fast does your turboprop fly?

We have two Cheyenne 400’s, they cruise just shy of 350kts or 400mph. They are about the fastest Turboprop out there. The Jets are not much faster, but are smoother and quieter. A trip from Philly to Miami might be 15 minutes faster in the jet, but that savings can be made up by using closer, but shorter airports in the turbo prop.

17 degrees here this morning with a 16 to 25 mph north breeze going for a partly sunny high of 35 degrees.

Now I've had all the winter I want, so I'm ready for some warmer weather.

34° right now and it's not going to get any warmer...wintry mix this morning transitioning into snow this afternoon. Not much, maybe a few inches...

Shoulder pain comes and goes....worse when I first get up. Heat, ice and Tylenol keep it somewhat under control. Thanks for the best wishes, Mostly and Kyle!
