Good Morning!!!! 46F @ 8:00AM. Sunny. High 63F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
At least the clock sez 8:00 AM. Sure doesn't feel like it.
Great pictures, Billy. Glad you're feeling up to such a hike, too.
Positive ground. Almost forgot about that on the Nortons, Eric. Another Prince of Darkness invention?
Sorry about all the funerals, Paul. But that's the reward for getting older, huh?
Squirrely squirrel, Bird.
For the past couple days I've caught a flicker hammering away at a window frame on the outside of the house. Vinyl frame on a stucco wall, what could it be after? I dunno, but I know what it's gonna get if it doesn't stop.
I think I found the cause of the water pressure problems yesterday. There was good pressure at the pump, but not thirty feet away at the house. Tracing the line inside the pump house, I found a large filter I'd forgotten about. The kind that the bottom screws off to reveal a fiber filter. When I checked, it was coated with mud. Guess I wasn't as careful as I should have been laying the pipe up to the new water tank. Sure beats shelling out four hundred bux for a new pressure tank.
All the rain and sunshine have weeds popping up all over the place. Need to get out there pretty soon and start spraying, as the pre-emergent doesn't seem to be working after almost a year.
A buddy of mine is riding down from Oregon today, taking advantage of the good weather. We're headed south for another Airheads campout at the Salton Sea next weekend. In the mean time I'm gonna put him to work running some wire up in the attic.
And showing him a few tricks with the BBQ.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!
