Couple great concerts, Shenandoah and Rodney Atkins. We had 2nd row tickets on the right side. Friends saw us who was in 5th row but on the center aisle, and we switched seats, as they were given the tickets but wanted to sit further back. So we took their tickets, we gave them our tickets, they went back in the grandstand and swapped tickets with someone there, who got our original tickets.
I was on aisle, with aisle behind us, and no one showed up next to us, so we were spaced apart from people.
Music was great. Knew all the Shenandoah songs, back from 90s. Atkins has been around a few years, but I knew several of his hits, and liked all the songs, including a couple tractor songs. “Friends with tractors” linked below.

Got our usual bbq beef supper at the fair.
Messicks kubota had a few tractors displayed. I couldn’t walk around as much or well as I used to. Stayed away from the young crowd in the crowded midway with all the rides. Very few masks.

When I took my KIA in for service I noticed new owners. Oregon based Lithia acquired the Texas Southwest Kia dealerships in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Apparently they are in the business of snatching up dealerships and by the end of 2025 they are expect to be the nation’s largest auto retailer.
My recommendation for Kia sales and service is Ancira in San Antonio.

Around here watching the daily hospital admittance it seems that over 1/3 and some days closer to half of the admissions are vaccinated people.
I keep kind of a close eye on this as my wife is still working at a local hospital.
As far as the number of confirmed cases I have not seen many statistics on that, and it seems to vary considerably depending on who you listen too.
We just got back from grocery shopping in one of the "higher" percentage areas and other then employees only a few people were wearing masks.
One other bit of info I’d really be interested in is the number of people who got the Regeneron treatments and then were hospitalized or not.

Interesting fittings, Doug. Solderless? Compression?
They are a compression fitting. They are used for water and gas. Gas have a yellow o'ring and water a black
one. You can use gas ones for water but not vice versa. Gas ones are twice the price too. He used a electric crimper with changeable jaws to crimp the joints. Apparently the O'rings will outlast the copper pipe. Hope he is right.

Not going into the ”link war” thing. I’m just interested in what others are observing around the country. If someone has hard numbers and links I’m all eyes and ears.

Me either, but I haven’t seen anything supportive of that assertion.
