Morning all,
Started the day on the border with my neighbor cutting up parts of a branch that fell between our yards.
Met him out by another branch that was covered with Poison ivy. He seems pretty nice, I asked if I could drop some trees on the border and he said no problem, and he will have someone here monday to take care of the poison ivy branch.

Then went to other border and made a trail to the large healthy tulip poplar that is covered in vines. Cut through most of them before they choked the pole saw. So far happy with the M18 and use it quite a bit from vines to 16" or so branches.
Hope fully the trail will clear up so I can get to the back of the tree and get the last of the vines if any remaining. That tree is big enough it might be able to cover the front yard, road and house, so I want to keep it healthy.

Watching kid playing at School of rock on facebook live. tomorrow he will be live at a pub, first time since covid hit.

Stay safe and be well.

Turtle decided to lay eggs on edge of driveway:

a fine haul of potatoes Don. That looks exactly like what I planted, about two thirds red and one third white. I think the reds
are more prolific, they certainly leaf out faster. Pretty hard to beat Red Pontiacs. My reds aren't flowering yet, should be soon.

Lou, thanks for info. Should be old tech, we have had grist mills since well forever.

baking muffins for church picnic tomorrow, then going to change hummingbird feeders and probably just listen to the a/c gently hum
warm sunny day out

Ken, turtles are very cool, particularly when you consider that the Leni Lenape Indians who originally occupied this area
were known as the Turtle Clan. So in this area turtles have been thought of highly.

let them get in your garden or in your melon patch and they will wreck everything though.
that's when you start thinking of Snapper soup...

just saw 2 groundhogs by the pool, so now I know what is eating the flowers!

Turtle soup, have not had that in a while. We had some baby snappers by the pool last year, cute as babies, not so cute as adults.
Now need to figure out how to mark this area of turtle eggs so they are protected.

Picnic muffins ! will be a happy crowd.

Sun is just up. Cool 54 F at the moment. Going to be a beautiful cloudless day. Lovely Winter so far. Our coolest night so far this year. No plans for the day but might go for a drive to see a mate. He has a battery grease gun I am interested in. (Ryobi) I already have a battery and charger for one. He reckons it works great. No outstanding jobs to do just now. Should polish the car I guess. Did the Kioti a couple of days ago. It gets cleaned more than my car. Might change when I get a new truck though. Have a nice day/evening wherever you are.

Yes Thomas, I have been caught by those sneaky storms too. Tractor can't go fast enough to get home. LOL

My view out the window as the sun is coming up today.
