Severe thunderstorm watch, most storms have passed north but there are storms popping up all over.
Hit 94 today, 78 now. Hoping the rain finds us.
Doctor’s appointment today, follow up from hospital visit everything checked out.
Got a hose splitter and sprinkler hose today, hose end isn’t clamped correctly and has leak, clamped it more and it leaks less, but leaks. I guess Amazon is getting it back.
I made tuna cakes and Mexican rice for dinner. I make the tuna cakes just like crab cakes only with white meat tuna. I like the crab cake recipe better than the tuna patty recipe.
Have a good evening.

Don’t be too hard on the Deere dealer or the Honda dealer. The supply chain is broken right now. We are dealing with it daily at work, I am dealing with it outside of work. As is anyone else ordering anything. What ever is in the schedule is in the schedule, there are no changes for the better, it only gets worse.

We are dealing with critical production and high volume service parts being quoted with 6 - 9 moth lead times. It is a mess

And any light in the tunnel is just another train coming at you.
How true, and unfortunately it seems to be coming an easy excuse.
Fork Mountain is where Herbert Hoover's wife liked to take visitors hiking. It is forested on top, so hard to find good views now that the leaves are out. But I found one hidden spot to take this shot of Old Rag rising through the clouds.View attachment 700019

I’ve always wanted to hike old rag but never did.
I started hiking Old Rag in the early 1980's. Always went up the east route and usually down the east route. Carried 3 children up on my back when each was about 2 yrs old. Used to be a spring ritual. Stopped doing it about 2005 or so.
Fond memories overtaken by too many people. Up to the early '90's parking was easy. Last few times had to "satellite" park.

At spots like this I would tie a rope around the young kids and let them walk near the edge.

Good memories.

Is that a star?
Here is a pic of a Texas moon on a hazy tonight.

Nope, the eclipsed moon.
Overcast tonight, but usually sized more like yours.
