Our high today was 102˚ so much for the cold front pushing through at noon.
I see lightning in the far East, I hope one of those showers hits here.
No engineer here, but I would think so. I suspect there are tables on the internet that could answer that. Guess wind load would be the factor?
As for sourcing, locally we have a place called Central Supply. I tend to think of them as mostly Plumbing type fittings, but they also have conduit etc. In the past, I have bought 21ft lengths of 4 inch sched 40 that are the supports for my tractorshed roof, but also many many lengths of various PVC - water, drain, electrical, etc. Knowledgeable people too.
