good morning all. 30 going up to 43, cloudy day, maybe a shower or flurry later.
I'm headed off shortly for hospital to go get a shoulder xray when they open at 7am and hope to be home soon thereafter.
Forecast for later this week is a stretch of mid 60 weather. That should make the flowers pop. My whole driveway is lined in forsythia so
should be yellow soon.

RS, nice fish pics. Is that green algae in the tanks? Do the fish eat it? As the army of plecos descends...

Good Morning!!!! 40F@ 5:30AM. Sunny. High 61F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.
There were frost warnings out for the valley last night, and yesterday saw more snow fall a mile or two up the hill.

Never really dried out yesterday, so I stayed inside and did my taxes. Big federal refund due to carry overs from installing the solar power system last year, but the state took a bite out of that. California used to be solar friendly, now not so much.

Also activated a new credit card, but had to spend a lot of time on hold trying to configure it for auto payment. Painfully slow and poorly featured web site; hope not to use it much as it will only see automatic charges. Less chance the card will be compromised that way.

Still no sign of a stimulus check, but partial payments from the PG&E Fire Victim's Trust started going out yesterday. Instead of lump sum settlements, they're going to dole it out in rounds until all the money's gone. They already know there's not enough to pay all the claims, so this way everyone gets equally screwed. The first round is 30%, and at that point they also tell you what percentage overall you'll get of your claim.

Got the phone call I was dreading last night from my newly retired pal: He needs me to haul another load of his crap to Klamath Falls because his other friend backed out. He's also having problems finding a trailer because so many people are leaving California and taking them all out of state.

Got an email last night to schedule my shot and site to do it.
Got signed up, and NO shots available. Dont know why they bothered to send me this.
Got the planters filled. too tired to get them completed.
Got the 2 almond trees planted.
BBQ some ribs last night, when I opened the package they said country of origin is Denmark?
Still not good with wife :-(

43°F and foggy this morning, going up to 59° today. The heavy hitting stuff either missed us last night or never materialized. All we got was a little more rain.

Was pretty sore yesterday from all the up and down the ladder Sunday, not to mention losing count of how many times I busted my upper back and head on rafters. So, not a lot got done after I got home from work. The new cabinet assembly will have to wait for another day.

The weather is starting to get nice here during the days, Mostly_. The water is still pretty cold everywhere, though. We still drop into the 30s and 40s overnight. We're hoping to get the new kayaks wet by the end of this month. The Wife has already been talking about tossing them into the pond. I stuck my hand in there last night. I'm not going in there yet.

after getting my xray which was easy, I spent a long frustrating time on the phone with Celebrity Cruise lines
asking them questions they don't want to answer. 1. Are you requiring vaccination? 2)are you requiring masks in common areas?
3) are you reducing passenger count to reduce congestion?

Yet of course they want the rest of their money now despite saying for the second time in two weeks they have no answers to my
questions. At least I was able to reserve a private table for dinner to distance a little in that big open area of non masked cruisers.

Randy, have they found paperwork on Side by Side?

They didn’t find it so they ordered a copy from Coleman, it was supposed to be there last Thursday, as of yesterday they hadn’t gotten it. I’m getting a little impatient, if not for the price I’d have already punted and gone elsewhere.
