Good Morning
It’s 20 with a high of 36 and gusty winds forecast, no precipitation in the 3 day.

Yesterday was consumed by fixing stuff and doing chores both here and out and about. Today looks like it will be a repeat of that.

A friend in the power equipment business had a large box of Onan RV generator filters ( he is not an Onan Dealer) that he wanted to get rid of, so I picked them up, and will give them to a friend in Washington, PA across the state. He has an Onan generator in the fire engine he restored.

I just saw that Bucks County, where I live has a 7% inoculation rate. It’s the 3rd most populated county in PA, but is struggling to get vaccine. When I checked for an appointment this morning, there were none available. So far I haven’t been willing to drive for two hours to get vaccinated, we will see if time changes that.

27 going to 48, but 48 feels warmer with the stronger sun than it did in January.

Thomas, glad you got back online.

Need to get busy on things outside as the ground dries more. Might even take the tractor down the hill.

Good morning! 57˚F heading to the mid 70s as the wind shifts this afternoon. Another cold front but this time a Texas cold front with low temps hitting only the high 40s.

Drew don't plan anything for 36 hours after you get your second shot. The people who I got my shot from are planing a shot-a thon next weekend. They will be vaccinating for 24 hours straight at a school stadium site. Family Hospital Systems to hold 24-hour, 1980s-themed COVID-19 vaccine clinic

I think Florence Nightingale caught the way germs are mostly spread- with the hands. Even though the Mask mandate will be lifted in a few days I will continue to carry my little spray bottle of alcohol in my vehicle to sanitize my hands after going in a store.

Replanted a few frozen plants that did not survive the deep freeze yesterday.

Today I need to do a few paintings on the cave wall, the subject will have something to do with hunting and gathering. :devilish:

Good morning, -4°F and going up to 25. Wind N 5 mph. Light snow in the forecast.

We are still under 'stay at home' orders. Monday I was home, Tuesday in Sudbury, Wednesday home, Thursday Sundridge, here it is Friday and I gotta go to the drug store for yet more dope for the DIL. Tylenol destroys your liver and she has T-1s, T-2s, T-3s and now she will be getting T-4s. Morphine makes her physically sick. She wont take anything that makes her sick. I really don't blame her there, I wont either.
We can go out for medical appointments and groceries and emergency supplies. What I don't get is that out of the past 7 days I have been 'running the roads' for 4 of them, and we are locked down.

I got a reply (form letter) via email from Tim Hortons, I swear the quality control section of TH is run by cats. You all know what cats are like, they could care less. They got your money and that is all they want. Your satisfaction AND quality food? Forget it.

Popgadget; if you need to drive for two hours to get your shot, how long would it take you to fly there? And why wouldn't you fly?

Have a safe day all

Good question.
The reality is that for a two hour drive, it would likely be a half hour flight or less . So by the time I drive to the airport, get the airplane out, arrange for transportation from the destination airport to the vaccination site, (where it’s probably too rural for Uber) and then do the reverse, it would likely take longer to fly and be more effort.

It’s different if you are the passenger with no responsibility for the flight and your limo (arranged by your staff) picks you up and drops you off. I’m way too “thrifty” for that.

I would likely do it if the vaccination site was an airport though.
