Good morning. 34 here in the Pee Dee area of SC. Beautiful day yesterday and supposed to be nice today. Rain starts up again tomorrow. Just in time because I saw a spot in the yard not covered with water yesterday. Just thought I would post up pics of the first of the 2 140s. I'm still convinced I got the best of that deal.View attachment 686723View attachment 686724

Truly one of Farmall best all purpose tractor made.

That's the first of 2. I am planning on getting the second one today. It's smoking pretty good. I suspect needs some engine work. I'm stoked about them for sure. I spent a good portion of my life plowing tobacco with one of them before we got 2 row equipment.

Making full pot of coffee today. -16° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 23° with partly cloudy skies. Got my drive and walkways cleared of snow. Then 4 neighbors needed help clearing their snow. Turned that part of project over to Dr neighbor. He was all smiles. One neighbor was clearing his 400' drive by hand. Bet he will be looking for something Orange to get the job done soon. I still need to do some cleanup of my drive. Some of the drifts were 3'. But I can get in and out. Never made it to photo scanning. It will be on the list today. After working my taxes.
Wow! How deep is the snow?

Mostly, sorry about fridge. I be there are going to be a lot of them in TX from all the off and on power.

Kyle, good part of recovery is doing happy things. But do not over do it. Good picture of son riding in snow.

Rick, every time I see you Side By Side. It makes me think I should look into one to replace my Golf Cart. A Mule SX should fit my needs. But it must have a windshield.

LS, finding one place to live year round in mainland USA would be difficult when weather is one of the main concerns. Having traveled for many years during the winter. I like my trips to south Texas and AZ. But the summer months could be brutal. Today one of my major concerns with a place to live is access to medical care. Looks like I found the right place 50 years ago. I try to only make appointments with Dr's that are within 10 miles of my house. Glad you are getting off meds.

Everyone stay safe, healthy and warm.

Good Morning All.

I'm looking into windshields for mine Ron. I'd like one that can be installed and removed quickly so .. I could use it in winter but .. remove and store rest of the year.

I'll likely find just the right one when it gets warm and I lose interest in even having one.

Good morning, the temperature is -13°F and going to a high of 16. Wind S 2 mph. Sunny!

We are slowly climbing out of the deep freeze. By next Tuesday we could see above freezing temps.

Nothing is planned for today, so I will conserve energy.

Have a safe day all

Good morning! Posting by way of the UPS. We are in the dark. This is the 3rd blackout since midnight. They are becoming more frequent and longer.

A warm 30˚F outside (never thought I'd say that), but the temps are falling, North wind started up again. cloudy. Had frozen rain and sleet last night and now we have 1' to 18" icicles we also had a dusting of snow. The driveway that I cleared now has a layer of slick ice. Should have left the dry snow I think, but now the ice will melt faster. Street is iced over, no driving today.
Temp now 28˚F. Ron close the door again. The electrical website say we should get power by tomorrow noon, hope it sooner than that. Areas to the north and south have too low water pressure and boil water is in effect.

Ron the caption for your pic of the day should be "I know I hid that nut around here someplace."

Nice Farmall Workinonit, my first tractor was an "A".

We are all electric. And it has truly become a convenience that is hard to live without. We would need 12kw at least to keep up with just some of our load.

I'm feeling ok. Sinus headaches and diarrhea are my 2 main symptoms. I had to rest for a bit while chopping firewood. I only split maybe 1/5 of a chord. We've burned almost 1/2 chord now, in since Thursday or Friday.

Randy, I'm praying for your family. Hope the property "settlement" doesn't get down in the muck.

I’m glad your symptoms are fairly mild, I hope you’re soon over it.

There is no will or anything involved in the property deal, it’s a clear contract when we bought my brother’s share. He has no legal standing. I’m mainly going down to pull some county documents so we can survey if we need to do I can sell it. I’m never moving back there.
