Good morning!!!!

Good morning all. The sheep are fed and wood fired range cleaned of soot. With nothing else pressing on list, I am free to do what I like for the rest of the daylight hours. Think I will have a go at transplanting some of the holly I found the other day.

Mostly, your wife's chest pains must have been quite scary, glad it turned out to be nothing too serious.

Wng, we must have similar climates, I can also pile up cut branches to rot down without it being a significant fire risk. It makes a good home for small birds, voles and newts for a few years. There was a time when they were ideal for hedgehogs too, unfortunately the ever rising number of badgers find them very tasty and have wiped them out.

Thomas, I am envious of your dedicated mud season, our weather now seems to enjoy making mud from autumn through to spring.

A rain spitting 40F going to 55.

Good news, Rich. Glad you could have a date night, too.

Randy, nice score on the guns. Now try scoring some ammo for them. :)

Mostly, sorry to hear about your wife, but glad it wasn't a heart attack.

Split the rest of the firewood, and filled up the porch yesterday. Might try to cut a bit more tomorrow with snow in the forecast for tomorrow night. Did the financial statements for my relatives' solar farm LLC yesterday, and will try to finish up the tax return today and K1s...good rainy day stuff.

Wife took her mom to doctor yesterday, and did Costco - sold out of the mixed birdseed we like...and seems like we are doling out double servings right now while the goldfinches and evening grosbeaks are here in flocks along with the usual birds.

You must do fair share of back dragging with bucket around the farm fill in the ruts, and have slip on boots for footwear.

Wingsprd I got 13 rounds of 30.06, haven’t checked to see what grain it is. I have two bricks of .22, a box of .410 and several thousand BB’s with a box of .77 pellets. All I need is 12 gauge.

Good Morning
It’s 35 and snowing now, supposed to change to rain and then clear up as the temp raises to 45.

I admit that I have never taken a deep dive into the features of the Apple Watch, but spent some time with it yesterday after changing the shattered protector. I have an app that will identify the song playing on the radio, it gives an hourly forecast of temperature, sky condition, and POP. It has an EKG function as mentioned by Don.
I knew that it displayed texts and phone calls, but I’m realizing just how powerful it is. It now communicates with my kitchen stove, giving me an alert when the oven is preheated, when the timer has expired or food is up to temp. So the upside of falling and smashing it was that I spent some time exploring it. Goes to show that you are never too old to learn.

Fortunately the 2 for $10 case from Amazon it it’s job, and the actual watch was unscathed. Also seems like I’m just fine as well. My daughter retrieved the video of the fall from the shop camera and it has gone viral with my family. I thought that she was concerned about me when she asked about all the details of the fall (she’s a nurse and bit of a mother hen), but in reality she wanted to know which camera to view to find the video!

Other than that, lazy day, put 4 coats of finish on speaker, pulled the drives out of an old failed computer and looked through them to see what treasures needed to be archived. Lots of old photos to look through. Great way to kill time between coats.

Still no word on vaccination.
