Check, sorry for your loss. Hope your FIL will be OK.

Rick, hope Insurance picks it up and you have a low deductible.

Got a call this afternoon from the Gardens. The lift was leaking.

Interpreted: a hydraulic hose was leaking on the FEL. I saw the hydraulic fluid all over the front of the hood and started up the tractor to find the leak. Nothing was leaking. I did find a loose hydraulic hose connection on the bucket hose and tightened it and called it fixed. While I was there the barn doors would not close so I adjusted them and fixed that problem. I was on a roll of easy fixes.

Thanks so much for the condolences, guys - and stay safe! Now comes the (virtual) funeral, the removal of her things from the nursing home, the 5 day wait before testing FIL, and getting my wife back to Toronto from Calgary. (Fortunately, she has already been vaccinated, as she is a front-line health care worker.) Also fortunately, she can "quarantine" at the condo in town while I stay safely up here in God's country. (I can do my job from up here, online using Zoom.)

snow continues to come down gently, about two inches now, forecast
revised to 14 to 20 inches
should be a quiet night as the snow muffles the sound

Solitary, welcome to TBN and Good Morning.

Our snow stopped at 2”. Hopefully tomorrow’s won’t be too bad either.

Cute pups.

Roy, can't you put a SMV triangle on back, put the flashers on, and drive it to fill it up?

The road we live on has a 50MPH limit and a number of blind curves for the first mile or two. Full sized utility tractors do run down the road fairly often...but I think their road gear is 25 MPH...quite a bit more then the 18 MPH the 4052 tops out at.
However, I wouldn't feel comfortable as we get a lot of truck traffic too. Bit risky...
I've only ran one tractor over the road...about 20 years ago and the tractor was a Deere 670. Similar secondary roads...wife followed me in a Ford Ranger

Roy.
Update:
Well, I ordered one...should get it this coming Friday...hope it works as advertised...
...................
Looking forward update how good product is...good chance for another storm next weekend.

If the forecast holds...looks like snow Friday through Monday...just nuisance snows (couple inches each day) Storm coming in Monday and Tuesday looks like 8" or so, depending on how it tracks.
The pump is supposed to be delivered Friday, but Amazon frequently delivers a day early. I'll let you know if it's a worthwhile purchase

Edit:
BTW, forecast for Monday-Tuesday is up to 8-13 inches. Probably a work from home day Tuesday... We've also gone from a "Watch" to a "Warning"

I have driven ours on the side of the road, in the grass at about 8-10mph. when traffic clears, I zoom back up to 18mph on the shoulder.

Don, easy fixes are good fixes.

Steiner Beast lives again. Apparently the new Buss circuit breakers and cleaning of terminals worked.

RNG, Rich, pick your poison. Lucas or Bosch. :)

Just watched a decent short series on Amazon Prime. Texas Rising, which starts right about the time the Alamo gets wiped out. They adlibbed a bit, to add some character drama. But some good acting/actors. I love Texas history.

Drew, I hope you safely get to use your new blower.

Ron, nice pic.
