All I can say is, it's unimaginable for me. Brrrrr.

Today I got my cortisone in my shoulder and Dr said there was a tear in there as well. Hopefully I can get a good nights sleep now. Might even regain full use of my hand again as a result.Usually can't last much beyond 5.00 before I have to give in and get up. Lucky I have the dogs for company as the wife sleeps in for a few hours more.
While I was at the hospital they fitted me in for a MRI as well. My back has been playing up for a while and I may need my 3rd laminectomy. Arrrgh.
Cost for the cortisone was about $220 with a medicare refund of $117. MRI was no cost to me. Aussie health care is pretty good.

good morning all.

24 out now going up to 41, should be a nice day but yukky weather coming in
tomorrow with rain and snow.
Fasting this morning for a PET scan, interesting that this time they reminded me that despite fasting, I should drink
water this morning. Ok.
My landlady left me a message that Quakertown hospital, about an hour from here, has/had some vaccines they were giving out, but
I'll be patient for the locals. Nice of her to think about me.

hope you all have a great day

Coffee is done brewing. 8ー with fog this morning. Heading to 32ー with mostly cloudy skies. Got enough snow so that Sassy has to go out in it nose up. Cleared enough at back door for her to go outside. Will get tractor out after daylight and clear walkways and drive. I decided to list a computer desk on Facebook Marketplace at 8 am yesterday. It was sold and picked up by 11 am. By then it had started to snow. Never made it to Menards yesterday. After clearing drive may give that a try. No other plans.

RS, when I bought a new Vizio for my bedroom last fall it needed updates. Has done a couple more since then. It's as bad a Apple and Microsoft. It does have a good picture though.

Drew, your post reminds me I need to schedule a MRI from a Dr visit over a week ago.

RNG, if you have the room I would put 30 amp in. Most all campgrounds have it. I simple adapt will let it work on 20 amp. Hardest part will be storing the cord.

Wngsprd, hope you were able to repair chainsaw bar.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Good morning. It was 70° this morning, now 69° with light rain that should be past us by mid-day .. then 74° this afternoon.

Yesterday's "quiet" day lasted till noon with heavy fog. When I went down to the shop, after lunch, I noticed a flat tire on the Kubota ZT. The wide low profile 26x12-16 tires are bad about breaking the bead loose .. when flat. I jacked it up with a floor jack and let it sit for a couple of hours to let the tire reshape itself and perhaps get it re-inflated so I could move it into the shop. No go .. still could not get beads to seal. Where it was parked I had either take a portable air compressor or stretch out a couple of 50' air hoses to reach it. I used a pneumatic impact and swapped out the flat with my spare wheel and tire. I'll try to get the beads sealed and inflate the flat one, this morning, to see if I can repair it, with a plug, or have to take it to town.

Weather permitting tomorrow .. we're going to start cutting down a few trees where our new VFD building will be located. I'm going down this afternoon to see how wet it is .. as I'll be moving the downed trees with the 100 HP tractor and grapple. We'll move the trees to an open area,on our property, and a couple other members will cut everything up for "free firewood" for our neighbors. We decided against letting others cut up the trees, on our property, for liability reasons.

Patricia told me the only "after effects" from her Covid vaccination was a sore arm. She got the Pfizer vaccine .. I got the Moderna. We'll get our second shots about the same time since the Pfizer delay is 21 days and 28 for Moderna.

Hope everyone has a great start to your week.

Prayers to all.
