Posted this on Cell and weBoost thread, but for wider query:

Inside and around the house our AT&T signal is iffy at best, but I can get a fairly reliable LTE signal about -90 on the roof.
For a number of years we had a Microcell provided by AT&T, but when it died, they told us to use Wifi calling as the microcell had been discontinued. That was OK until my internet provider went bottoms up. I ended up with AT&T cellular internet from a 3rd party. Works quite well and I’m pleased with service. However, with my phones on wifi calling I’m using bandwidth that I’m paying extra for and even then phone service is still a bit spotty.
Knowing I can get -90dbm on the roof I’m interested in cell booster. WOW, lots of info and not cheap. This site seems quite informative Waveform (formerly RepeaterStore) - The Cell Signal Specialists

Cel-Fi GO X seems the better recommended although WeBoost is as well. I can mount the Yagi on same mast as my internet antenna.

My house is built of concrete sided SIPs with galvanized channel and metal roof, not particularly signal friendly.

Anyone with knowledge of this system?

Also would appreciate pointers on aiming. We are a couple miles from AT&T antenna but can’t see it. I aimed by plotting on map then a compass.

Do I need to be concerned about multiple Yagis pointed same antenna on same mast?

Thinking about the vaccine. Being only 74 guess I get relegated to the younger group. But was thinking, as I have been diagnosed with asthma, not to mention my extra poundage, maybe I can sneak into 1b.

I use a Weboost, helps upstairs a lot, need to buy another indoor antenna for downstairs.

This morning, I got a hysterical call from my DIL next door... she put their dog out as usual and he suddenly just keeled over...
By the time she got to him, he already passed...
That dog was very special to her, helping her get through some very tough times in her life over the last ten years. She is devastated.... a sad start to the new year.

She certainly has my sympathy. I can understand how she feels.

Dennis, can you add just the second antenna?

One of my “concerns” is if I put the antenna in my office it might not be strong enough in livingroom which is a separate structure and need its own.

Maybe finish up last year’s budget consolidation. Looks like we managed to end on a positive note. Boy, I remember the days when the end of money came before end of the week or month. Don’t miss them

I don't miss them either, David. I remember putting fiberglass insulation over windows and wearing winter coats inside one winter to stay warm in a slum half duplex, buying food at the Coop, mostly powdered milk and government cheese, either walking or bicycling to college, and working a variety of part time jobs to feed myself and pay the rent. Sure don't wanna go back there, yet they were some of the happiest times I've had in my life. They have provided a healthy perspective I don't think a lot of folks have these days.

Your post inspired me to review a retirement budget estimate I made back in 2010 when I was preparing to pull the plug. Turns out that estimate was very conservative. When I re-ran the Monte Carlo retirement calculator at Vanguard, I'm good out to 115 years old. Considering the advances they're making in gene therapy and DNA science these days, that's not a bad thing. Then I looked over the finances over the past year, and was surprised that the S&P 500 has made a 15.29% advance, in spite of a very rocky ride. Be a miracle if that happened in 2021: If I did the math right, the average return over the past 10 years is somewhere just north of 6%...

You can, but you lose some dB, but it’s right after the amp.

well what goes up must come down...
inside Christmas stuff packed away, taking a break from 7 trips up and down
cellar steps. Now headed outside on a grey and cold day to take down the outside lights.
Need to find the right size box to put them in, but no matter how careful I am they
will surely be snarled in a knot when I go to use them next. I do unintentional knots a lot better
than intentional ones.

I roll my lights on old wire spools, no tangles.
