Forgot to mention had a nice visit with elderly MIL yesterday morning for coffee. Took her a medical grade air purifier she can use, which being a nurse once upon a time she
understood and appreciated, though she rarely has visitors. She will take it with her to her son's home on Thanksgiving and run it in the dining room while everyone has their mask off.
It's very quiet and hopefully will work for them. After she gets her vaccine shot, I will get it back and will give it to church for use in Sunday school kid's classrooms.

Those are plastic perches to hold the snow from sliding off the steel roof and hurting someone. Also helps keep it off the driveway and brick walk.

Plans for today...dump run and since weather wet outside make files sort wildlife phots on pc I been dreading to do back them up.

Good morning, the temperature is 25°F and going up to 32. Wind NW 6 mph. A few flurries possible.

Over the night we got about 3" of fluffy white snow. I will scrape that off around 9 A.M. I have to go out at noon.

Yesterday I got the LED lights strung in the man cave. Two cuts and the trees were ready to get shoved back into the bush. Fueled the tractor, too. Covered the motor on the conveyor.

Other than plowing and going to town around noon, I don't have anything else on my plate.

Good morning, a white frost everywhere this morning, sun taking it's time to clear the rooftops.

Mostly you are correct, cold weather has put an end to my brickwork for this year. The good thing is that once started our building permits go on indefinitely without any extra charge and now the walls are no longer threatening to tumble down on their own, my wife is not too disappointed that I am dragging completion into another year.

Kyle, the law changed here a few years ago, we can no longer bury farm animals, they all have to go to rendering plants. "Old" for a tup is anything over 4 years, servicing an average of 40 ewes in a flock and then the same again with another flock must take it's toll.

My friend who owns the tups, which come here for a couple of months each year, picked the old guy up yesterday. Sheep are not at all spooked when one of their own kind dies naturally. I took this picture while I was waiting for his landrover to appear, only one is deceased, yet it is difficult to tell which one. If you want a clue to narrow it down - it is not one of those that are standing.

54 outside this AM. Stopped raining about an hour ago, now the wind is picking up.

Today we will officially close the summer out, yep, closing the pool. LOL. Kept it open way longer than planned, but it is nice looking at clear blue water.

Need to check on the game cam setup in the barn. Some critter has taken up residence as the cats don't want to stay in there any more. One cat has found the front porch to his liking, but it is still a construction zone. LOL.
