Good morning!!!!

Poured first cup of coffee. 34° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 46° with mix of sun and clouds. Change of plans yesterday. My Aunt asked to do shopping this morning instead of today. Got door to cellar built and installed yesterday. Got power washers winterized and put away for the winter. Picked up a few yard ornaments. Do shopping this morning then continue picking up things that will not stay outside for the winter.
Michigan Covid counts, cases 154,688. Deaths 7,147. Oakland county, cases 19,339. Deaths 1,926. Cases in hospitals are less than 10% of March April counts. Case counts for state are averaging 1,600 per day. They forget to tell us that early on only people that had symptoms were tested. Today almost anyone can get tested.
View out kitchen window. Colors are very brilliant this year.

59 going to 79 and lots of stars out. Coco wanted to go for an early walk today. Saw no skunks, but scooped up 3 of their scat piles yesterday with lots of dig-holes nearby, so thought it might be a hotspot...didn't see one there this morning using the flashlight.

Good day yesterday...main accomplishment was mowing, to beat the rain coming later today. Seems by the time the fog/dew dries off the grass, the evening dew is forming. Some areas never dried, since it was humid yesterday.

Ron, that's a beautiful view to watch birds.

David, enjoying watching your project progress.

Randy, I bet that was a very good door.

A bit different approach here.
The bathroom door will be pocket door type, split to open both directions, the only way I can get 36”.

Here is the “hole”. Definitely a challenge. Gave up on the plasma cutter. No idea the problem, possibly paint too thick? I did grind down an area for ground. Resorted to a combination of 41/2 in cutoff wheels and good metal blade in reciprocating saw. Quite rough and needs dressing up.

The next door is a 6ft patio slider. Get to apply todays’ lessons learned for that one.

That’s going to look great! My buddy’s door was strictly for access to the rear area as he stores lawn equipment and play toys in the front.

Yeah, they're pretty cool...will save me a lot of trips back and forth to the cab. I think Deere is the only company with them as an option, but I expect others will follow suit within a year or so...
Well, a bit after 0800...time to get dressed and start my chores (described in my first post a couple hours ago)

The last three days have been heavy fog in the morning clearing after noon and then warm and sunny. Yesterday I mowed at the farm. It was just beautiful. I moved a lot of leaves, still lots in the trees. The farmer turns out to have planted barley. Now all the fields are green. Monday the tree guys were there cutting down 3 dying trees. Yesterday the tree planting guys were putting in 5 new trees. There are a couple of leftover logs I need to move to the staging area for my neighbor who does firewood.

Took Ellen for removal of basil cell carcinoma yesterday, that was successful on the first attempt so it kept the area small. She’s a bit sore though. Her dad went for tests yesterday and they kept him for monitoring, heart, lungs and kidneys.

I went back to the doctor and got my arm cauterized, that was a bit uncomfortable, but at least I’m not bleeding through bandages every 2-3 hours. The area is roughly 1.5”x 3” and it’s a three cornered flap. Probably needed stitches that night but you know how it is.

Very foggy the last three mornings.
61-77 today, then 57 and rain tomorrow. I have to replace some flood lamps outside, I think my son in law is going to do the ladder climbing, I just don’t trust myself for that anymore.
More great pictures and Info as usual.
Have a great day that’s blessed by the one.

My grass just isn’t growing now, it’s been ten days and didn’t really need it then after 15 days. A few wild onions and garlic that’ll be around all winter and a few patches in the back where I filled low spots and reseeded with some generic blend, are all that’s growing. Still mostly green but getting brown spots now.

Good morning,
the temp is 33°F and going to a high of 36. Wind NNW 12 mph gusting to 19. 30% chance of flurries.

The snow we got last night was enough to turn the green grass white.
Time to take the BH off and put the BB on.
That is about all that I will be doing today.

Have a safe and healthy day all

Good morning! 49˚F heading to only the high 60s. Winter is back. Went to the outback yesterday to deliver provisions to Mom. Y'all remember when you choose your "forever" place to make sure it has medical facilities in the county and a grocery store that delivers or move closer to you kids.

Ron the tractor pic yesterday was mulch (wood chips) not compost. The green house wants to till in compost and plant things in the area around it. I think my mistake of mulch was a better idea, mulch it to keep the weeds out and forget it. Oh well, that is an area I don't have to keep up.

Roy those are some neat things you have on that Deere, it will be fun.

Kyle, for some reason I'm excited about our new Steiner project. I see where there are two different Kubota motors, do you know which one yours has? Are there any attachments that come with it, I see they make 26.

Still no fall colors here but the greens are a getting duller.

As I was shopping for Mom yesterday I found 1 container of lysol laundry sanitizer and stopping at another HEB grocery store found a spray can of lysol they had just stocked so I'm good for another 2 months.

I could not find any defogger mentioned here but I did order another spray defogger for glasses with mask wearing and it is a 5 star product. It's Fogaway from amazon. It's sprayed on and after it dries (I use a hairdryer to speed up the process) you wipe it off. No fogged up glasses anymore, yea! (And it's made in Ohio.)
