I'd written about an Irish Whiskey called Connemara a few weeks ago. I bought a bottle (not cheap!!) couple weeks back and finally cracked into it...very nice! Nice peaty taste and, if you like a single malt Scotch, you might like this one

I am sitting on porch with the 3 legged cat tripod enjoying this weather. Wow, 66ｰ

It would sure be nice if we could get a couple more months of it ...

Funny how tripod sits almost on her back, such a loving cat. Just wants petted.

Couple crows cawing around.

This afternoon, while I was taking a break and giving my back a rest, I was sitting in a lawn chair out at the planting bed and heard a bird calling from the top of one of the hawthorns. Was eventually able to pick it out ... not sure exactly what it was, but it was largely orange ... might have been some kind of oriole or a scarlet tanager, going into fall coloration.

First orangish bird have ever seen around here ... if ya leave out the robins.

Good evening all. 70F for the start, mostly clear sky, calm wind, high humidity. Some clouding up during day pop t-storm about 6, windy just before it, otherwise light wind day. High temp was 89F. Bike ride this morning, 62 miles, lunch shower nap, then dinner at fish club fund raiser and then back to work at fund raiser.
