Eric, I am still procrastinating the electric trench... especially now that I remember how difficult manual labor is.... I may have to design and build a tooth trencher for the backhoe bucket....

Michigan Iron and Equipment came up with a combo ripper tooth/trenching scoop a while back ... might be just what the Dr. ordered: Pulaski for the BH ...

BACKHOE RIPPER TOOTH | miemachinerydivision

The pics on their website currently don't do it justice ...

RS, yes, you can get worsening reactions to stings, some people can actually get to the "severe anaphylaxis" reaction stage over a few years, and a few stings. All different levels of reaction can occur.

Appreciate the insights ...

Might not be a bad idea to pick up an epi pen and keep it handy ...

I hear of so many people having issues / trouble with dentures.... one of the best things that I ever had done.... There is nothing that I cannot eat... including stuff like jerky and corn on the cob... chew / break ice cubes. I don't use anything like denture adhesive either....

I am a bit sore / stiff this morning, so I think it will only be some shop time today. Finish up the fuel cart and maybe stare at the BH do get some ideas for a tooth scattering around in the head....

Hope the pain/stiffness subsides soon ... enjoy your day.

Drew that Makita cordless vac looks like it would be real handy. I know it will never happen but I wish they would standardize batteries. I have Milwaukee power tools and they have worked well for me. I'd like to add a chainsaw and a weedwacker but I'm not sure about Milwaukee lawn and garden equipment.

Local schools here are back in session. I see a few colleges are having to go back to remote learning. So far only one local high school has had to go to remote learning. Who could have predicted that kids would get sick? My sister the school librarian got it in early August (lite case). She is relieved that it is safe for her to go back to school. I didn't want to burst her bubble by telling her that some people are getting it twice. I saw the school bus go by last week. There were no kids on board. I'm not sure what that means.

Plan is to mow the Hilo end 5 acres today, or at least a good start on it.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

storm has become mostly a non event. Lot of wind earlier but no rain. Rain finally showed up, but no different that normal
afternoon thunderstorm and I see patches of blue sky now. So the rv and car got a nice bath but that's about it. I expect some more rain later but then
it will clear out and be nice night.

59 going to 73 with off and on showers today.
My wood floor in the kitchen goes wall to wall with cabinets installed on top. I did it that way so we could reconfigure in the future if we wanted.
We just use generic soap saying good for wood floors on the bottle.
The tile install in the hallway was done by professional not me.

This project is to big for my arthritic wrist and knees so is being done by professionals.
They will be done in two to three days. My kitchen took me 3 weeks. LOL.

Under 40 Thomas days left.

What brand of flooring? Prefinished or not?

Thomas, you asked about how we keep the bears from our bird feeders...I was set to reply that when the bears are active, we bring the feeders in, and that we only place enough food for the birds to finish by dark...but that very evening we had a big bear walk up the hill and grab the plastic sunflower tube and bite it open...then lie on the ground and lick up the seeds...so a failure on our plan. When he walked over to one of the hummingbird feeders I yelled and he ran what seemed as fast as a deer back down the hill. Last time I yelled, the group of 3 bears in the yard ignored me.

Yep...once you think you have bear/bears figure out/plan good chance they will prove you wrong...they are smart...hummingbird feeder just like Big ole glass of Kool Aid to bear we found out.

Took Coco to an internal specialist in the same group as the dermatologist. She works at the group's practice in both Florida and Richmond, and then flies home to Denver. She changed out some meds and thinks a month will tell us whether Coco can recover.

Thanks for update on Coco...always pulling hard for Coco always.
