up in middle of night to take some tylenol for headache
Drew good news from hospital, how long before tinnitus settles back down?
interesting fact I learned this time, positive effects of chemo and also concurrent negative side effects peak at ten days after infusion.
Was told the headache came from one drug, foot nueropathy(tingly and feel warm) from another and I'm sure hair loss from all of it.
Hair loss is supposed to stop one month after last infusion and start coming back, maybe.
Have no idea on tinnitus, they simply don't have any cures for it; I start prednisone today for five days and that may help a little
I need to remember to put noise cancelling headphones in car, even road noise in a fairly quiet car is unpleasant.

Kyle, was told the B52's that could not fly were at least being put into hangars. Question is how will the hangar do...
My friend's brother down there is seriously worried about his new roof on home. I hope he has a backup gen.

I'm running a little late but your mention of hair loss with chemo reminded me of when we were going through it with my wife's breast cancer. We got to know some of the people in treatment and most lost their hair and it came back afterwards. Some had bald or thin spots and my wife has a small thin spot on the back of her head and her hair changed from blonde to a light brown. There some who never lost any hair and one lady who's hair just got curly.I guess that's like with most things in life, everyone has different reactions to whatever life brings our way.

I'm really glad that your treatment seems to be working well.

thanks Jim. My late wife went through chemo three times and the first couple of times she loved the fact her hair got curly, like a free perm!
I was going bald up top already so I don't have any strong expectations of much coming back.
I think women are much more concerned about this than men and I understand that.

Here is how it came out in the living/ dining area. I hope they can do the same with the bedrooms. All will be 3/4 thick boards.Walnut to tile and walnut to oak boards. The oak installed myself when we built.

Drew, really good news!

You asked RS about his loader, I can’t help you there, but mine is a matter of folding the stand down, removing 2 pins, unplug the hoses and back out. Takes about 5 minutes. But I found I can mow just fine by just dropping the quick change bucket so that’s all I do anymore.

That's al I do (drop the bucket) with my 4520...makes the ride much smoother and easier on the front axle

77F @ 17:40, down from the high of 89F.

I had just about finished mowing the front when the next gauge wheel on the MMM bit the dust. By the time I was finished raindrops were starting to fall.

It came in a couple of waves, with two heavy downpours so far. I think the rain has stopped but I'm still hearing rumbles of thunder ... hopefully we'll get some more ...

Did not get the side and back yards mowed ... :(

Before I started mowing I unloaded the culvert and the two pallets of retaining wall block off the truck. Got the culvert cut with the Sawzall and then moved all three pieces back into the woods near where the crossing is.

After that I moved the auger rack out from right in front of the garage, and loaded the three auger bits in it. Need to raise the cross bar, due to the augers now sitting lower in the rack (due to the addition of the 4 x 4's on the bottom ...)

The Woman is on her way home ... she did not stop and get any good homegrown tomatoes for BLT's ... :( ... although she still has a shot here by the house ...

Toppop, your Massey is a very modern design, like a modern swiss army knife, not sure RS's older tractor works that easily. Let's see if he says five minutes...

It's pretty much as top (and Ron) describe it ... less than 5 minutes to drop the entire loader.

Probably about 5 minutes to put on the MMM and hook it up ... it is a drive-over deck ... which is what I do. Used to do it like Ron does ... but it probably requires more effort on asphalt than it would on smooth concrete. Four connections including the PTO shaft.

At any rate, it's not a lot of fun doing it in the hot sun ... but it's not too terribly bad ...

;)
