Squirrels can trick those, either pushing the slinky up the pole with their head as they climb, or grabbing onto it, pulling it down and then climbing the pole real fast when the slinky brings up out of their way.

I really love to see the squirrels on the spinning disc try and try. It's wild to see how long they can hold on.

Sassy is a Shih Tzu. Best dog for no barking. If someone comes to one of my doors. She runs to it waiting for me to open door. Then it’s her world. Welcoming the visitor.
No shedding. But does need to be brushed/combed weekly.
Likes to play with her toys with you.
She can snore enough to wake me at night.

Landseer ECT doesn’t drool.
Affectionate, think they are a lap dog…

But they shed tumbleweeds, and are happy to see everyone, regardless of that feeling is reciprocated!
Time to up grade to a two setter recliner. ;)

that is a wonderful picture
she is one big bundle of joy
I've learned to hold on to something when she approaches
once in your chair she just wants to be loved

not a successful trip this morning, though roads were dry; they must have used a ton of salt
yesterday to get them that way. But when I came up to rv, road was cleared but otherwise just a sea of ice
over the whole area. Never got one foot out the door; only way to get to rv would be to crawl.
no
will come back later in week when all melted
nice visit with my friends.

someone in a wheelchair usually appreciates visitors

I wonder what the upcharge for this would be over stock gas
300hp/660 torque
school busses, medium trucks
be a nice motor for my rv for sure

Cummins Octane

wouldn't it be nice if the motor actually looked like this and not the rats nest of
wires and plastic connectors that is likely added to it. Hard pipe all the wiring
and chrome that valve cover

good afternoon, 38 going to 44 and feels colder with the wind advisory

Made breakfast, fired up, started the stove fan to blow more heat out in the room Feels pretty good
Walked Cody and looked over the wall at the barn that is leaning a little. The modification made to the old barn is what causes some issues since they were not made to the same quality standard as the original build 200 years ago

Gd sent us the essay about her background that she got an A on in class. Nice to see she is doing well

55F, foggy, and damp @ 15:30, which is probably the high for the day. Calling for a low of 27F tomorrow morning after the front moves through.

Went downstairs yesterday and was immediately disgusted by what I saw: the 13.5" x 8' piece of polyiso foam board had fallen down off the wall ... 🤬

First time i have had that happen.

Thought about it for a bit and vaguely remembered something in the instructions about using a plant mister to moisten when gluing two non-porous items (foam board, for example) together.

So grabbed the spray bottle I had used caulking up the stove pipe and repeated the whole process again.

After that I started unloading a set of shelves along the west wall that was full onto another one that was empty.

Got that done and then moved the now empty shelves out of the way and start unloading the next set of shelves onto the one I just moved.

Woman came down around that time and we had the big discussion of what needs to happen to finish the west wall. Which, of course, made Her head spin ... She's like "... Whaaaat ... ?"

Finished up unloading the second set of shelves after She left, still have to move it.

Came up for dinner around 20:00.

Watched a couple of movies after dinner, both good, did not go back downstairs.

On the agenda for this afternoon:

Take Kubota over to the barn and grab more 2 x 4's and stick them in the garage. That will probably clean all the 2 x 4's out of the barn.

Fire up wood burner and burn the first load. It's full of wood scraps, cardboard, and some paper.

Move that set of empty shelves ... which should give me a path to the main gas valve over the main breaker panel.

Probably shut off gas after that and reposition the gas valve that will feed the gas line going out to the garage. Maybe run some 3/4 black pipe after getting the valve relocated and checked to make sure it isn't leaking.

Beyond that just see what else comes up.

Hope everyone is having a decent Sunday ... (y)

The freezing rain is coming, but IF it continues on the same trajectory as it is in now most of the worst of it will miss me.
One can only hope.
Going to get a ticket on the $80 million MAX draw, that will give me 3 lines of 6 digits each and also there are 40 $1 million draws. The ticket is worth $5.oo plus I will get 5 encores which are worth $1 million each. That will cost me an extra $1.oo/encore for a total investment price of $10.oo.
If I win the 80 million you can be guaranteed I WILL be moving, if for only a year.

Got all the remaining 2 x 4’s in the barn.

14 stuck in the garage, another 5 brought in thru the front door to go downstairs.

Outside temp now up to 57F.

Now heading downstairs …
