55F, foggy, and damp @ 15:30, which is probably the high for the day. Calling for a low of 27F tomorrow morning after the front moves through.
Went downstairs yesterday and was immediately disgusted by what I saw: the 13.5" x 8' piece of polyiso foam board had fallen down off the wall ...
First time i have had that happen.
Thought about it for a bit and vaguely remembered something in the instructions about using a plant mister to moisten when gluing two non-porous items (foam board, for example) together.
So grabbed the spray bottle I had used caulking up the stove pipe and repeated the whole process again.
After that I started unloading a set of shelves along the west wall that was full onto another one that was empty.
Got that done and then moved the now empty shelves out of the way and start unloading the next set of shelves onto the one I just moved.
Woman came down around that time and we had the big discussion of what needs to happen to finish the west wall. Which, of course, made Her head spin ... She's like
"... Whaaaat ... ?"
Finished up unloading the second set of shelves after She left, still have to move it.
Came up for dinner around 20:00.
Watched a couple of movies after dinner, both good, did not go back downstairs.
On the agenda for this afternoon:
Take Kubota over to the barn and grab more 2 x 4's and stick them in the garage. That will probably clean all the 2 x 4's out of the barn.
Fire up wood burner and burn the first load. It's full of wood scraps, cardboard, and some paper.
Move that set of empty shelves ... which should give me a path to the main gas valve over the main breaker panel.
Probably shut off gas after that and reposition the gas valve that will feed the gas line going out to the garage. Maybe run some 3/4 black pipe after getting the valve relocated and checked to make sure it isn't leaking.
Beyond that just see what else comes up.
Hope everyone is having a decent Sunday ...
