Rain missed us AGAIN. Serious drought here now. My bushes and trees are visibly wilting.

96/110, dew point 75. It’s still hot! Had dry thunderstorm last night, rained south of us. Maybe it’ll cool off soon, but it is July.
Had a nice visit with my old car dealer friend and a great Reuben on marbled rye. We compared experiences, dogs, recipes, etc... Enjoyable time.
Watered plants and trees early, not going to do much outside now.

76F over cast rain arriving later this evening.

Been good putter day even fix trimmer clunking/vibration.
Little after 4pm today while outside heard loud smack snap after low boy flat bed hauling BIG Cat fairly new excavator went by yep driver didn't see 8" oak limb and he didn't stop I remove what I could of limb/branches plastic even broken antenna,limb has deep gouges yellow paint police dept. was notified and they would call highway dept. no one to show up take down hang limb blocking half the road. :confused3:

Depending on the weather not much plan for this evening other than giving each kitten new pillow with catnip inside...this should interesting. :laughing:
