Good morning!!!!

Good morning 72 going to 84 and sunny now, rain later- had 1/2in yesterday
Went to a drive in in Orefield PA Sunday night. It was my son's first time at a drive in, an hours drive but well worth it.
Spacers definitely make the tractor more stable, was able to get in and push down a dead tree behind the garage and felt nice and stable.
Lot's of wood moving and even had time to refinish the top surface of our Acacia tree table, no more green surface!

Jay-good to see you back - we had lots of bears at my Uncle's place, they would come in for the crab apples every year. We kept our bird feeders far from the house, so didn't have them get too close. They can be a real pain.

Randy - Happy anniversary

Drew - hope you get your meds straightened out.

Stay safe and be well

Cutting grass at 4AM, Bird? I can understand wanting to stay out of the heat, but what about the neighbors trying to sleep?

Bird runs an EGO battery powered mower, IIRC. I don't have the mower, but I do have the snow blower, trimmer, chainsaw and pole saw...they're very quiet

88F (... already ) and mostly sunny @ 11:30, high today predicted to be 93F, 60% chance of a thunderstorm (supposedly)

Plans for today:

Complete mealworm feeders and get at least one set up.

Complete Gilwood Slot nest box and get it put up.

Complete Northern Flicker nest box.

Fish room maintenance.

Figure out solution for suet feeders.

The suet feeders were hung from the overhang on the backside of the house, just outside of the living room picture window. Racoons have been coming at night, on the roof, and reaching around down under the gutter and grabbing the suet feeders and pulling them up off there hooks in order to pilfer them. There's one feeder laying up on the roof, not sure where the others have been carried off to. Obvious comprehensive solution is to get rid of the coons but that will probably take some time. Need something more immediate in the meantime.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day.

As Roy said, I'm using an EGO self-propelled, battery powered, electric that's pretty quiet. And of course around here all the neighbors (and us, of course) have the A/C on and doors and windows closed. It would not only be unneighborly, but even illegal to run a gasoline powered mower before 6 a.m. When I was using a gasoline powered mower, I used to not enjoy having to wait until 6 a.m. to start, but I did.

Likely putter around tractorshed.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

While I was answering the last post, I remembered that it started to sprinkle rain yesterday just as I was finishing mowing, so I hurried to put the mower away without cleaning it off at all. And today, we have some clouds and it's not as hot as it has been lately. So I went out and hooked up a water hose, and gave the mower a thorough washing, blew off some the water with the air hose, but also tied the throttle wide open and let it run to get dried out before I put it away.

Oh, I forgot you had an electric mower, Bird. That helps. Kind of a sore spot with me, since I shared a backyard boundary with a guy that would use his gas mower in the wee hours. Talking to him about it didn't make any difference. Just one more reason to retire and get a place where I can keep the world at arm's length... :cloud9:

I’ve got a set of 3 ton and 1.5 ton Snap On stands, mine are 30+ years old, them failing is not even in my thought process.

Another 1/4 inch just now from a pop up storm, that makes right at an inch since last night and not before we needed it. Temp is down to 74 from 86 an hour or so ago.
