got a good call, local landscaper wants my big Massey, I listed it for 44k, paid 50, he wanted to dicker, and I'm in a hospital bed, so I agreed to come down to 42.
Need to unload assets and build retirement fund back up, pay for expensive assisted living bills.
Next is rv to sell, just got it all cleaned out, need to find a good consignment place for it/and or put on Craigslist.

69°F and .11 inches rain.

Need to mount brush hog. Could be a good mowing day for outer area, just wish I wasn’t a week behind. It really grew this week. Sun and water will do that.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

That's a great deal for the MF...do you have 100 hours on it yet?

73 in Greenville NC going up to only 77 in widespread showers and rain all day.
Hope you all have a nice day and good things come to you.

Roy, enjoy your nice weather
David, you clearly enjoy cooking and being creative with food, pizza sounds good. Seems forever since I've had one, most commercial ones have a lot of greasy meat and "mystery meat" on them, I prefer to layer on barbecue chicken and other toppings to make my own.

LOL, BBQ sauce was one of Sophie’s additions.

Kyle, with hindsight it seems incredible that while President Roosevelt could see what was coming and wanted to do everything possible to assist, others like the American aviator Charles Lindbergh were naive enough to think ****** was not after world domination and were initially highly successful in preventing any aid coming to Britain. Even so, 11 of the pilots in the Battle of Britain were American citizens who came over to help ( despite the pressure put on by the "America First" movement, though that did collapse as soon as Pearl Harbour was attacked). I wouldn't have been born if it wasn't for pilots like them and the many that came to fight in Europe after, like Randy's dad.

Some other info I found out....After Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, and the President was declaring war, the Senate voted 100% for it, but the House of Reps had 1
dissenting vote.

Jeanette Rankin- a suffragette from Montana, voted against fighting back the aggressors and dictators.

very happy to report chemo through spinal column went ok, they went through L3-4 instead of L5. Wasn't fun but tolerable. Monday they give me an infusion through my port and then ship me to assisted living by ambulance and I finally leave the land of beeps, bangs and cackling aides...We'll just have to see how I feel, but confident that current procedures will reduce sickness. Now waiting for lunch to be turned back on, stomach grumbling.

they told me NPO, acronym for no food or drink after midnight. Yet when I got to chemo, because they were going through spine, they actually had wanted me to drink several large glasses of water first. You think they would get this right...next time, bottoms up.

Hope you all have a good day.

Sounds like good progress, Drew 🤙🤙

PJS.... you should smile and know you and your wife did good by taking care of that dog. No failings there trying to help.

Yeah, I'm fine with it. It's unfortunate, but it was the best decision for the dog. Wifey is taking it hard, though. She just sent me a two word text message, "I'm home," followed by a broken heart emoji. She really did go above and beyond trying to help this one, but she's still hurt that it didn't work. Now, my job is to keep her from beating herself up too much over it.

At least it was treated with kindness and compassion right up to the end, Paul. A lot of people can't say that about their lives. I'd have to draw the line at being bitten the first time, so you two went above and beyond...
