Good morning, the temp is 53°F and only going up to 63, in Markham, ON. Wind WSW 4 mph. Cloudy.

After I leave home for work, I stay at work or in the general area until layoff time in fall. I am going to go get my little wagons this morning and get ready for the northwest.

66F and partly cloudy @ 12:30. High of 68F predicted for the day with no rain forecast.

Got fourth bluebird house put up and bushing length measurements taken yesterday.

2.25" and 1.75" for the cylinder itself, 0.75" for the pin bosses on the frame should work nicely ... :thumbsup:

Watched a 20 minute video on how to use a boring bar on a Bridgeport mill which was interesting ...

Did research on bushing types/materials and mobile line-boring services in the area.

Thinking that while I'm into all this loader repair and restoration, now might be a good time to handle this:

Had thought about just getting some straight tube and replacing the portion that was bad, but the two whole tube assemblies have come down in price (< $100 total for both) to the point where I don't think that makes a whole lot of sense.

Further research to do today ...

Big changes, Drew; it sounds like you're rolling well with the punches, and feeling better enough to complain about the food.

Wish I lived closer and could drop by for a visit and sneak you some decent BBQ.

Oh yeah ... the list has already grown further:

1. Modify mounting bracket for front hydraulic connections for the grapple for better clearance with the other hoses.

3. Paint that bracket and the one for the diverter valve.

3. Fix SSQA (still slight bent) and weld on reinforcements to hopefully prevent any further bending.

4. Prep and paint SSQA.

5. Prep and repaint bucket.

6. Fab up a shield/cover for the hard lines on the loader cross member, then paint.
