Good morning!!!!

41 going to 68. Watched a fox carrying a vole to its den area around sunrise while watching the big moon set.

Mostly, don't know what arm warmers are, unless it's a jacket, but we need them here, too. Cold nights next few days, including predicted 32F Saturday night.

Don, my TBN looks funny, too. I rebooted and ran my antivirus.

Finished the teardown of the old red wagon yesterday...Whoever built it used an assortment of different size bolts, nails and lumber...certainly spare parts and miscellaneous hardware. I thought I was gonna straighten my crow bar on a couple of pulls. Made a dump run, carrying off some of the non-reusable stuff, and refilled the diesel jug...price had gone up a nickel.

By the time I got home, the wind had dried the grass from the several sprinkle during the day, and I was able to mow the yard with the new blades...smooth cut feels so good.

We learned yesterday we have 4 chipmunk babies...apparently a couple of them were slow to come up for a look around. My wife has named them all after cookies, although we don't eat cookies...but their colors make her think of cookies, like oatmeal, fig newton, ginger snap and oreo. Mama's name is Choco, for chocolate chip. Now I'm hungry.

Buppies, how's that grass looking on your newly landscaped area?

45 outside this AM. Heading to upper 60's. Not much on the agenda.....grass.
LOL.

Think I will try a park visit today before the rain and cold moves in. Fields still waterlogged. Really could use some dryer weather.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 30° clear skies this morning. Heading to 61° with mix of sun, clouds and winds. No drone flying today. My back is still complaining about Tuesdays garden work. Lawn needs mowing. Will do that at a slow pace.

Drew, hope you are getting better.

Rick, where are you?

Running behind on everything today. Will catch up later.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

51 degrees this morning, going for a high of 82 with a 100% chance of rain in the forecast for tonight. And yep, I'm having the same problems with TBN displays as everyone else.

Good Morning!!!! 71F @ 5:00AM. Mainly sunny to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High near 95F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. It's been a warm day followed by a warm night here. The glass sliding doors in the office and master bedroom, at opposite ends and sides of the house, have been open, and the inside temps have dropped to 69F. If it was winter, I'd have started the wood stove.;) The wind has just picked up, and the doors are closed to keep papers from blowing all over the office... Yesterday afternoon, a wildfire broke out along Highway 70 a few miles south of here, four spot fires caused by something traveling down the road. Three were quickly extinguished, but wind spread the third out to 50 acres before the firefighters could stop it. Won't be long now before PG&E starts turning off the power again. There's already been one fire in which power lines were involved, but they haven't come out yet to say they were the cause. Yep, Don. Emojies are broken, too. That's a LOT of V8 juice! In my youth I'd have been up in that oak tree, climbing like a monkey. Still love to see big oaks like that, but with the oak disease, I try like heck to stay out from under them. RS, there have long been complaints that Facebook's Messenger app listens to conversations and uses what it hears to target advertising. If it can do that, it can also do all sorts of other, more nefarious, things, and I refuse to load it on any of my machines. I've also gone through the Facebook preferences and turned off almost all of the "features" that allow cross communication with Facebook apps and logins from other apps. Facebook also keeps a list of all the ads you've looked at, and puts them on a list you can edit to delete them, as otherwise you'll see more ads from those companies than you would otherwise. What happened to all those carp, Mostly? Hope they didn't just throw them out. Pretty sure the neighbor's wife suffers from depression, and has since the house burned down in the Camp Fire. Her husband feels powerless to deal with it. The porch really came out nice, Ted, especially with the knee slowing you down. Tell Jeff to be careful or he'll end up as a tractor salesman.;) I dream of dollies and big pads of concrete, David... Nobody deserves to be treated like that, Rich. Hope you and your supervisor are on the same page with respect to that customer's behavior. Another case of CoVid-19 was discovered in the county yesterday, bringing the total to I think 18. No surprise, really, since several new testing stations have been opened, and a LOT more people are being screened. Two counties south of us are re-opening; one with a large mall that just opened yesterday. Video footage showed almost no one wearing a mask or keeping to social distances. Should be interesting to see if there's a resurgence of the disease. I have an appointment for a haircut this afternoon. Wonder how the barber'll deal with the straps on the mask I'll be wearing. Another rough day yesterday out in the trench, but in the end I've only got a foot or so of soft dirt to go, and one very stubborn rock that'll take moving even more dirt, and probably the impact hammer to persuade it out of the way. The pile of big rocks was in the way, so I put the bucket back on the tractor and used it to push them over; the tractor didn't need to downshift or even sound strained. I'm still really nervous about going sidehill with it, but found a very nice inclinometer I purchased from a merchant here on TBN many months ago, and took a few minutes to mount it on the new Kubota. Five degrees of tilt feels like falling off the edge of the world, probably because the seat on this thing is so much higher than the old tractor. I guess I'll need to somehow re-calibrate my pucker meter to match the inclinometer. Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'! Sorry this is so hard to read; TBN just stripped out all the carriage returns!

Good morning to all! Low of 39, high of 84 forecasted. Red flag and high wind advisory in place, breezy already at 15-20 mph. Gust could approach 50 mph later.

Rich B1, story to hear of your trials dealing with that customer! Maybe they think that numerous wrongs will make it right? Hopefully your boss understood what was going on.

Drew? Rick? Hope all is well with you guys.....

Wng, nothing like Mother Nature to provide some entertainment!

LFN, I am convinced that politicians are politicians no matter where they are.... just out of touch with the people. Are you prepared for back to work time?

Don, your getting more seat time than I have recently....

I was experiencing weird screens on here last night, but seems to be back to normal this morning.

Everyone have a great day!

An essentially clear and sunny 37コF for todayエs low temperature after the upper level haze dissipated. A clear and sunny 49コF presently, and I anticipate a sunny afternoon with high temperature in the upper 50コF's. A beautiful March day to appreciate and breezy enough to keep the black flies away. Actually it looks breezy enough to keep the black flies hungry until Sunday. A good afternoon for messing with firewood.

TBN's screens are "off" today for me as well.

I saw my first warbler of the Season in the woods yesterday while walking Brogen- a Black and White Warbler. No hummers yet. We had a pair of Rose Breasted Grossbeaks at the feeders yesterday.

It looks like I will be getting some snow tomorrow night into the weekend.

Don- That is an awesome oak.

Ted- Great job. Thanks for sharing this and your water feature projects.

Rich- I am sorry to read about your challenges with a 鬮ョ?サifficult client. Good luck.

Our town of 857 has 1 confirmed case of C-19.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Good afternoon all. It was a real pleasure to be out this morning, hawthorn and crab apple blossom are coming to their best. Pics will have to wait until TBN is fixed.

LS, very neat work again. Your blue sky got me thinking how to keep a metal rail from being too hot to touch in your climate, do you coat it with a special insulating paint ?

Sodamo, definitely treat your brush hog too, a dolly for everything is implement Nirvana. Dollys rock ! ( well, my last one did - I put it down to warped wood )

Mostly, not often you see a loader bucket of fish, even on TBN. Are they destined for BBQs ?

Well, mission accomplished! Porch and stair railings done! Toughest part was getting the angle cuts on the pipe on the stairs.
LS, nice work on the railing. I can relate to the angles of the pipe on stairs. I put the hand railings in the old country church it had a landing than made a 90˚ turn. The rail was to be straight on the landing and then angle up to the top. to get the bend in the railing I had to bend it with my FEL. Turned out perfect. RNG It was 36oz not 48oz and it was low sodium, which still had 200mg of sodium per serving but the nice part was the 1250mg of potassium per serving. So three 12oz cans has the same amount of potassium as 9 bananas without all the calories, only 60 calories per 12 oz can.
